Cute wood houses,green vege fields,warm sunshine and blue sky.Yellow Canary Lodge is located next to old town Dali,backs on Cangshan Mountain with a very good view of Erhai Lake.
We have two warm wood houses and a peaceful green yard..We grow plants and vegetables in it, waiting for them to grow. Little cat running here and there, waterwheel turning around.You can rest on the swing, sit next to our pond,pick veges to make healthy food, anything you like. There is also a big inside common area,where you can rest,eat,drink tea,etc, You are free here!
Yellow Canary Lodge is a warm and happy place that welcomes travelers from all over the world.The hosts of the lodge are two nice and warm-hearted girls cici and kiki.They used to be volunteer teachers in Yunnan and love this beautiful place,so they stay and build this lodge for a peace of happiness.
We offer simple but healthy Chinese and western food, many kinds of drinks including Kongfu tea and home-make drinks.Trips and tours can also be booked at our reception, if you need any help,just let us know:)

Accommodation Information

Yellow Canary Lodge has two types of rooms:Tatami room and Dorm

Tatami room is private with comfortable bathroom, there is a big french window with nice sunshine.The bed is 1.8*2m.Tatami room is quiet and elegant with Chinese Calligraphy hanging on the wall Tatami room can hold less than 3 persons.

Yellow Canary Lodge has three 4-bed rooms,and can sleep a total of 12 people.There are mixed dorms and Female dorms :)

Bed sheets and linen are provided and all rooms come with security lockers, reading lights.We provide public bathroom with 24-hour hot water and a open washing space where you can wash your face and rinse your mouth without waiting in the morning.
Wifi is free for all the rooms and Washing machine is available.

Location Information

Yellow Canary Lodge is located next to old town Dali,backs on Cangshan Mountain with a very good view of Erhai Lake.We are 5 minutes by bike from the South Gate,and there are bus stops in front of us.

The famous Wenxian Building is 5 minutes walk from us, so is the City University which is very beautiful and worth going.

You can rent a bike here and ride around the old city. Yang Ren Jie Street is 10 minutes by bike with lots of typical bars and cafes.If you like native food and interesting shops , you can ride to Ren Ming Lu, or just take the bus in front of us, 5 minutes you will get there.

Cangshan Mountain is on our back, we can help you arrange the trip there and book ticket for you.We also have one-day lake tour for Erhai Lake,during which you can visit many nice small villages around Erhai:)
