Liked: the hostel were very clean and the staff were friendly. also, the bar where you could eat somrthing, ist very nice!

Liked: nice location, close to the major sites, a bit far from the subway. very clean, decent restaurant, very quiet and a super helpful staff. we took their great wall tour too!i'm very satisfied.

Liked: Super clean and secure, towels changed daily, etc. Just round corner from main attractions & shops. But if ur looking for that fun & vibey party atmosphere, look elsewhere.

Liked: Has a great location and relaxing atmosphere - great to kick back and watch a DVD in the common room when done sight seeing. Good food at travellers cafe also!

Liked: The hostel was more like a hotel, which was nice- as the facilities were newer/ cleaner etc. The hotel was spotless except for the communal toilets on the 4th floor. I made an effort to go elsewhere before I got back to the hostel- as they werent good! However, the rest of the hostel you could eat your tea off the floor! Additionally, the phone cards on sale at the hostel are expensive, give very little talk time- and the actual handset doesnt work too well either!(so best not to call home from there!) All this said though- I would stay there again.

Liked: clean and safe hostel. Staff were helpful but didn't have too much insight into the various sights they recommended. Food was expensive but decent. Overall, a good hostel that I would stay at again.

Liked: Jade Hostel is located near the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. The place is very clean with friendly and helpful English speaking staff. We were so happy that they offered valuable advices about tourist concerns like locations of tourist spots, approximate taxi fares/travel time to destination, suggestion about itinerary etc. There was a staff who advised and saved us the effort of bringing our thick jackets knowing that the forecast for the day was sunny and warm. Before leaving for the airport, they had the initiative to check our flight terminal and gave our taxi driver clear instructions. Simple gestures of concern mean a lot to tourists like us. We were also glad about the internet access in the hostel with minimal charges. Jade hostel definitely offers value for money accomodation!
