Liked: Great common area, friendly staff, good location. Bathrooms and the room itself were kind of dirty but nothing that someone who has stayed in a few hostels should mind

Liked: Convenient for all sights. Cool lounge area with big TV showing DVDs. Loads of facilities (pool table, book swap, trips out, restaurant with good food, cheap beer etc). The room didn't get cleaned in the 4 days we were there but that didn't spoil the visit. The secret wall trip is really good. Staff were really nice.

Liked: The atmosphere was wicked and it was situated in the heart of the market. So besides being a couple blocks away from the Forbidden City you could also soak up some of the culture right outside the door. The staff were friendly and interactive and the events/trips the hostel ran, from what I saw, were stellar. Cheers!

Liked: Connie, one of the staff members was so friendly and helpful -she always went thst extra little bit to help us. The hostel had a really good atmosphere for travellers to meet each other it was also ina great location to see beijing and was in easy reach of the metro system.

Liked: the hostel's own bar is a great place to meet people and its pretty cheap - 6yuan per beer. the place has a wicked atmosphere and the location is really good.

Liked: Wow, wow and WOW...what a great place. i have stayed at many hostels and never answered excellent for all the criteria until leo. An amazing social place, great tours and activitied on offer and only about 5 min walk to tianenman square... What more could you want. the Staff are AMAZING, they have great food and cheap drinks... a must for backpackers of all types. there are quiet places to read, and also a great bar to drink!!!

Liked: Super social area - we kept coming back even through we had to move to a different hotel for a tour. Massive lockers with a power port inside so you can charge your goodies while being safe inside. Shows are cheap compared to others and get good seats too. Great great place - became a real home.

Liked: The main communal areas of the hostel were nice, tidy and generally well laid out. The location was really good in a nice lively street and only a few minutes walk from Tianamen Square
