Liked: Beautiful courtyard to relax and plan the next trip. Clean rooms. Bathroom ok. Kitchen is not in the best state, but sufficient to prepare a small breakfast. The best thing about the hostel is the hutong location with small shops and close location to public transport. Friendly and helpful English speaking staff.

Liked: friendly manager. good mix of national and expatriate guests. ambience is everything! (e.g.,location in an updated "hutong" neighbourhood, songbirds in the foyer/common area)

Liked: there are a lot of chinese guests, and not so many tourists from western countrys. it's a relaxed place to meet some chinese people, the location in the hutong area is very nice (but hard to find).

Liked: It's clean, there's 24 hour heating and hot showers, the staff is really friendly and helpful. They provide free pickup from the airport (only 30 yuan for tollway).

Liked: Good location and open seating area - nice dorm rooms and bunks but would warn people about the inability of the staff to clean the bathrooms and toilets.

Liked: Staff were super friendly and helpful. When we were scammed by the infamous Beijing Tea Ceremony (watch out), one staff member was super helpful and friendly in trying to get our money back/report to police. Above and beyond call of duty!!!

Liked: A great place to relax after a day of sight-seeing. Very quiet location yet only a few minutes walk from 3 major thoroughfares. Convenient access to other parts of town by metro, bus or taxi. Lots of small shops and eating places close by.

Liked: The room looked exactly like the picture. I like that I knew exactly what I was getting. The staff was very friendly and everything that you need is right here; internet, tour information, restaurant, etc...
