Liked: Very clean and comfortable. Nice and quiet even though near a busy road. The hostel offers trips to the Great Wall that pick you up from the hostel. Great big beds and wonderful bedding, pillows etc. Would definitely recommend this hostel!

Liked: The staff could not be more helpful.Even came to help me buy my sim card.Ordered for me at the restaurant as I am Vegetarian and then left me to enjoy my meal ! Gave written instructions in Chinese to make life easier ! Had a really good time .Met lots of like minded people- thank you to Linda and special thanks to Amanda for helping me eat !

Liked: The prices they charged for a 6 person dorm were ridiculous, the hostel was practicly empty, but apart from their rates it was a fantastic hostel. I guess the Olympics wasn't the best time to visit Beijing.Extremely friendly staff which was willing to help you with everything. Great atmosphere ! Good place to meet people !

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and a clean bathroom with a well-working shower. Adequate heating in the room. Good, basic breakfast available at a reasonable price. Excellent location near some hutong-areas, the parks around the Houhai-Xihai Lakes, and the Bell and Drum Towers. Easily accessible with the Metro. Peaceful and quiet place, even with the ongoing street work on the nearby Deshengmen Nei Dajie; the completion of the street work (in the next coming months) will mean a significant upgrade to the surroundings. Nice and intresting clientile with a chance to meet with some locals unobtrusively, as well. Could imagine that the terrace and courtyard make the place even nicer during the warm season.

Liked: It's a great little place in a top location, and the staff are the friendliest you could come across. The rooms are clean, simple, and well-equipped, and best of all its QUIET and peaceful at night, right in the middle of Beijing. What more could you want?
