So many guests at Sleepy Inn do not want to get up in the morning, especially in the winter, because the beds in the rooms are so comfortable, and it is so quiet in the rooms. What you can only hear in the morning is the singing of the birds in the trees.
We promise you clean rooms at Sleepy Inn.
Attractive Lake or Hutong views
Sleepy Inn has an attractive lakeside location surrounded by many Hutongs and low-rise houses. Most guestrooms have amazing lake views or Hutong views. It is full of life here. Citizens walking around the lake with their dogs, doing exercises, and performing the Taiji in the morning. Just go to Hutongs by bike or by walk, to look, to feel and to experience.
Local Life Experience
Numerous Hutongs, old trees, low-rise houses, and the largest local market around the lake allow you to experience the real life of local Beijingners.
Largest Local Market
As the largest market selling daily food, fruits, goods and commodities in Beijing, a guest from the US (Mr. William Patrick) commented that the market is the largest market he saw in the world and is a wonderful experience for him to explore the local life. It is also fun to bargain over prices.
No traffic jams, no noise, no tall buildings, no TV sets, you could slow down your pace and experience the local life as a local Beijingner rather than a transient tourist. Sitting on the chair on the terrace, drinking one cup of coffee, with one book in your hand in the morning and one bottle of beer at night, you can just enjoy being a local people. For sure, you may want to change your schedule and extend your stay here as most guests did.
Chinese traditional massage, delicious Chinese food (don’t forget Beijing Duck and Chinese Hot-pot), interesting bars along the bank of the lake, Beijing snacks served in the old courtyard? all of them are accessible either within a walking distance or easily by bike.
Sleepy Inn is only one hundred meters far away from the Houhai Bar Area. There are so many famous restaurants and bars around the lake. Houhai Bar Area is the most famous bar area in Beijing now, and Sanlitun used to the most famous bar street.
