Liked: The owner was very helpful and entertained us by playing the erhu! We were served a delicious chrysanthemum flower tea for soothing our sore throats. We were housed in one of the outlying buildings and unfortunately there was some smoking in the common area. I would suggest a total ban on smoking. (it gives me a severe headache and causes my eyes to burn)

Liked: It was quaint and in the hutongs, which made it feel like China and not a tourist attraction. It had a warm family feel.

Liked: situated along the very busy XinJieKou BeiDaJie which offer a wide variety of food and shopping outlets. The best part is still the JiShuiTan subway station which is just a 10 minute walk away

Liked: The ambiance was perfect. this hostel is what I thought all of China would be like. It was clean and simply beautiful!!

Liked: Our rooms were cleaned every day, the staff was helpful and spoke English well, the selection of food was good, and being in the hutongs gave us a different view of Beijing than if we'd stayed in a hotel somewhere else. Also, the bike rental was a great price and so much fun!

Liked: There should be an option for Very Good, not good. This hostel is amasing, I've stayed in a lot of hostels, but this one is brilliant. The location is superb and William the manager is very nice and helpful. Definitely a big thumbs up. The food in the hostel and in the area is excellent. Keep up the good work.
