Liked: The price is great value, the location is one of the best we could have hoped for. It's much more like a hotel than a hostel for private rooms.

Liked: Range of day trips available. Could go over to the other part of the hostel and use the bar and restaurant. Really interesting location. Really close to Tianamen Sq.

Liked: Great location in a Hutong which is full of life and authenticity (locals are very friendly).

Liked: Excellent location. Great amenities-- self-service laundry, internet access, tour desk, close to Tiannamen Square and the Forbidden City, but in a hutong, so you can still buy street stall food.

Liked: Our dorm room was clean, comfortable and had working air conditioning, which is vital in the summer in Beijing. Sally was very helpful when we were booking our room. The hutong neighborhood was interesting for shopping and eating and we always felt safe. It is an easy twenty minute walk to the Hepingmen subway station. We would stay here again if we ever return to Beijing.

Liked: Like being in a hotel, the resturant was fantastic as were the staff, had on site travel agent which did charge commision but was well worth it to org train and wall visit.

Liked: Very clean, lots of good facilities at the hostel. Feels a bit too much like a hotel with hostel dorms though - ie. you don't see much of other backpackers.
