Liked: Check the room that you book twice! We got a room without windows. Location is supe, but it is a noisy place. I would rather look for something closer to Forbidden City. To appreciate - it is very clean!

Liked: It was easy to find from the train station (right across the street) yet it was not loud or noisy. The dorm rooms were clean and orderly. They advertise a Chinese / Western breakfast for 15 RMB, but actually it is only a Chinese breakfast...hard boiled eggs, rice congee, pickled vegetables, and fried vegetables....it might be very frustrating for someone who would like something mild for breakfast. Otherwise, it is pretty good place to stay.

Liked: location is good, but the staff made a mistake with our reservations and tried to charge us an additional 500 RMB. Wasted half an hour of my time until they figured out that it was their mistake.

Liked: Really good location, especially if youre heading out on the train. Good tours and a nice bar (although unhelpful staff). Walls are like paper so you cab hea every thing and being close to the bathroom meant you could hear the chinese men honking up their saliva...a regular thig in china.

Liked: The location was excellent as it is near a subway stop easily able to get to the airport line. The font desk agent I worked with spoke English which helped me get to the Great Wall tour accross the city after my initial plans with the hostel's booking fell thru for some reason.

Liked: I liked the general organisation, the fact that you can leave your luggage even though you've checked out. I enjoyed the half-chinese, half-european breakfast. But it was quite noisy and the floor of my room obviously had not been cleaned.

Liked: It was handy for the train station and Tiamanmen Square. But the bar was a bit gloomy and the wi-fi was unreliable. Also, there were no locker keys but the security box at reception was too small even for a netbook. but the dorm was fine and it had good showers.

Liked: The place used to be cleaner three years back otherwise, but the shared showers have been improved - they are clean and every shower has a small changing room that you can lock so don't have to worry about anyone taking your belongings. Staff (especially on the third floor bar/cafe) doesn't speak very good English which is at times a bit frustrating. The prices are high in the bar and especially annoying was the charge on the internet as the computers run quite slow most of the time. But the location is perfect for a stay in Beijing as you can take the subway just about everywhere in the city these days! And if you don't plan to spend time at the hostel, it's definitely worth it.

Liked: The area is really good, so you can get everywhere quite easy. The hostel is a hostel. So don't have too many expactations and think about smiking is allowed everywhere also in your room, restrooms,... very disgusting!

Liked: POSITIVE : Good price .In front of the beijing main train station. Good tourist information center. Many supermarkets near NEGATIVE :The mattress was too thin. Guest kitchen too dirty

Liked: It's very convenient with fastfood shops and supermarkets downstairs. And I like that they provide washing machines and drying machines. The staff are very helpful too! They've made everything super easy for us.
