Liked: Location was great. Suttle bus just opossite and metro station just outsite the hotel.

Disliked: Dirty. Bathroom very old with black "shit" in the lavatory and shower. When showering water goes everywhere outside the shower. A lot of dust and more "shit" in all the corners of the room and under beds.

Liked: Huge bar on the third floor to meet anyone to go out for a meal/excursions/drinking with if the people in your room aren't too much fun.

Disliked: Not alot.

Liked: The rooms and showers were clean. There was a pool table and table football. Perfect location for the train and metro.

Disliked: The kitchen was very unclean and there was no way we would cook in there. The toilets were very limited for the number of rooms using them. Only one of four toilets in the mens was working and that had no light in it. In the women's, one was so built so close to the cubicle door that you couldn't sit on it and close the door. The reception staff spoke very little ENglish and the bar staff were more intersted in playing computer games than serving you. The internet was expensive at 6 yen an hour and very slow.

Liked: I stayed in 4-bed dorm. The room was nice. I've stayed in 4 different hostels in China now and this one had the softest beds :) The location of the hostel is great. Right next to railwaystation and subway so it's easy to move around. Also there are many food places, shop etc around. It's also easy to get a taxi from in front of the hostel. The staff in the reseption spoke English. The beds are "normal" ones not bunk beds (I don't know about the bigger dorm).I only stayed one night so it's hard to say more about this but I would recommend this place to everybody.

Disliked: In the room the beds are not numbered so sometimes it's difficult to find out which ones are taken.

Liked: nothing will beat the location - just across the road from airport shuttle bus stop and literally 20 steps from subway station. Very clean room. Toilet and shower is at times disgusting, as the local travelers aren't usually very clean. A safe place.

Disliked: the room I had booked was not ready when I arrived, had to wait several hours to change the room. Also very unpleasant confusion of the word 'private'. In the hostel 'private' means not private facilities but that you stay in the room alone.

Liked: Location was very good (right next to subway and trainstation).

Disliked: Staff didn't seem to know a lot to help the traveler (taxiprices, distance to airport, good places to eat, etc.).

Liked: very convenient location - you can see it when you exit beijing station. metro very close by. lots of shops and restaurants around. rooms clean and big.

Disliked: rather bland. not a great place to meet people.

Liked: The location is very good, the elevators are efficient and it's mostly clean.

Disliked: No atmosphere, the restaurant served bad breakfast and only pizzas for dinner, which we waited for about 30 minutes and wasn't even fresh. The beds are quite uncomfortable. The guideoffice people were not very helpful.

Liked: I love this hostel. The staff and facility is awesome. They let me change my reservation at the last minute and without a fee. The hostel room was very clean and secure. There's the 3rd floor "Club" where you can drink, watch tv, play billards, & socialize. The location is great. Outside the hostel there is the China Post Office, fast food, and super market. Also, the subway is at the corner of the street. It allows easy access to transportation to get to your destinations. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay again.
