Customer reviewSome of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly! We received a warm welcome when we first checked in. The rooms are good value for money, clean and warm (which at this time of year was important). The bar is very cozy and the bar man very freindly and always happy (and singing). Easy to get from Capital Airport and subway only a short walking distance. Note, best to have hostel name and address written in Chinese characters for taxi driver. Lee (the manager) and recpetion staff helped us with our forward travel plans - very helpful! Michelle and Steve from Scotland! :-) |

Billy Cobbthe reception from the moment i arrived were brilliant, they could not do enough to help...amanda was fantastic with great english....tony in the bar was amazing, john,cherry,mary,katey..all really genuine and extra helpful.also sandy, the english guy that worked there was excellent he pointed me in the right direction for everything, really cool and made a big difference having a westerner working here.the new bar was also great and a great place to meet people!!! |

Amber Jane FosterThe hostel is clean and not too far from a subway station. The rooms are quite small but we managed fine. The bar area is nice and cozy and the food was good. The staff are very friendly and helpful we were there for their 1st birthday and were given free duck and cake! We also spent a night on the wall and they kept our bags overnight for us. |

Customer reviewthe location was great: right next to the top of the forbidden city and close to all transport hubs, which was great now the weather in Beijing is getting cooler! the staff and atmosphere were fantastic: helpful and friendly and the bar/food was excellent. Good social crowd and the place to meet other travellers. Rooms were clean and tidy. Also offered all the tours etc so plenty to do in the day, in fact almost too much to do! Would definitely recommend and stay there again! |

Customer reviewThis is a nice hostel, it is in a great location.With in walking distance from the metro, shops, Huton and the Forbidden City. Would recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Beijing. |

Aidan BrosnanNear subway station, and the directions are spot on (which makes a change!). Clean rooms and nice bar with good food-not much asian food though. Staff really helpful and good fun! |
