Liked: Super friendly staff speaking excellent English in comparison to other hostels all around China.

Disliked: The bathroom was hard to keep clean because of where the shower is located. It all ends like a puddle of mud if someone comes in right afterwords.

Liked: Happy Dragon is well located in central Beijing, close to the subway station and the main sights. The staff is helpful and pleasant. Don't forget to eat at bar.

Liked: We stayed in a four bed dorm with Private ensuite. Rooms were basic but what you expect for the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Sad to have missed the free dumpling night

Disliked: The room was very small and got quite stuffy. The shower is just a drain in the bathroom so everything got quite wet. The directions to find the hostel from the metro station are not quite right (ie there is no market dragon street). Would be helpful to include the address in Chinese characters are part of the booking confirmation like other Chinese hostels have done.

Liked: The hostel is nicely setup and the staff were incredibly. I ended up extending my stay for a week, and although the hostel was completely booked, they got me a room in the hotel behind the hostel. The location is very central and there are hutongs, markets and restaurants to explore steps from the hostel. The small cafe was also excellent.

Disliked: Nothing thati can think of.

Liked: Staff was super nice, beds were comfortable. Its a really chill place, I'd definitely recommend it.

Disliked: Restaurant was a little pricey, you can get the same amount of food for half the price outside the hostel; you're paying for convenience.

Liked: A little expensive, but it's beijing.Amazing staff!they are always trying to help you if you need help. The atmosphere was amazing, people were open to meeting new people, made a couple friendsit was a good hostel! And if you r looking for cheap local food, right around the corner, there are some chinese restaurants, serving rice, fried rice, and noodle, noodle soup, cost you around 8-13quai per meal.

Disliked: the location is a bit off from the centre, not much thoand there's a subway station nearby. From the subway station, forbidden city is about 15 minutes ride,so not really off from the centre of the city.but a little pricey for the service i got.Although beijing is usually more expensive, i think i could find cheaper hostels providing the same service in beijing.
