Customer reviewI liked staying in a hutong. The room was a decent size and the bed was hard but comfortable. The shower worked well and I liked the extras like toothbrush and toothpaste, etc. I enjoyed the day trip to the wall and the tour price was affordable too. I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely say to others to book with 1 Hai Inn. |

Customer reviewLocation is good. However the mattress on the bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor. Our room wasn't the cleanest and the bathroom had a horrid smell. It was really noisy at all hour of the day and night due to paper thin walls. |

Customer reviewThis hostel was pretty good, but the room was musty and there was a leak in the pipe in the bathroom. I didn't appreciate this. I liked how the hostel had tours available though. That was convenient. The location was also good. |

Martin DostálGreat location = near the YongHeGong subway, close to Lama Temple and five minutes to Gui Jie street - the famous Beijing restaurant street. You can find about 150 restaurants there, while some of them are 24hours/day opened. Hostel is not very clean, my room was a bit smelly. Also rooms are quite noise - noise from other rooms and hostel bar. Nevertheless, you must bear in mind, that it is hostel for truly budget price, not a Holiday Inn :-) |

Sean HanrahanThe staff were very freindly and the toiletries in the bathroom were a nice touch. The so called 'Tour' to the Great wall was a disgrace as we spent one hour at the Great Wall and the rest of the ten hour day being taken to different factories to be sold stuff. There is little atmosphere and this hostel is not a good place to meet other travellers. |

Jonathan GriffithsAverage sized rooms. Bad selection of food, a big menu but they hardly had anything from it. No atmosphere at all, nobody in the bar at night. Misleading information from this site regarding it being a good place to meet people. |
