Liked: friendly staff, nice location near subway station and attractions (confucious temple, lama temple, and Hutong-just across the street there are quite good cafes and restrants).

Disliked: The grand wall tour included three shopping places.

Liked: Really nice staff, good location, close to metro and cheap and good restaurants. Nice area. Nice bar with free wireless and funny and helpfull staff. Nice rooms and confortable beds.

Disliked: Just could be nicer have a real door between room and bathroom, instead of a tight glass wall.

Liked: Cozy, comfortable, and completely worth every penny

Disliked: i personally had the room right below the bar and during world cup matches people would explode with applause at 2:30 AM. Also a slew of people hog the 3 available computers and the wi-fi is spotty

Liked: very friendly and helpful staff. the 8bed dorm had its own bathroom and shower, which was great. nice bar with cheap beer =)

Liked: Nice staff, good location (restaurants, atm, supermarket and two subway stations (line 5 and 2)). maybe not overly clean and the "build in bathrooms" in the dorms might not be everyones first choice (wall between bathroom and rest of the room not very thick, you hear everything...)

Liked: Great place, the directions are clear on how to get there, there were temples close by and the subway was close too. Location was perfect. The building was interesting and the staff did there best and were semi helpful. Do not book a taxi through them as they charge double to price. If you can book guided tours cheaper do it. The value of the hostel was good. The washrooms are surrounded with misty glass so if you are the sky type either have a shower when no one is around or don't stay their.

Liked: I found this hostel just amazingly great. Specially the staff. They were so helpfull. I dont speak much chinese, but their english was totally understandable. Clean and nice rooms and the hostel itself felt really open and peaceful. A great bar with a tv, pool table, foosball-table and always very friendly people. A 3min walk to the subway and close to restaurants, shops and so forth. I highly recommend this place if you ever planning on going to Beijing.

Liked: I was in China with my University for 36 days, traveled the entire country, and spent my last 2 nights at this hostel. Its clean, has a legit bar, free internet access, great location, amazingly helpful/friendly staff...I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a dose of reality. Solid.

Liked: The location of this hostel is excellent, just behind the lamma temple (yong he gong) and a few minutes walk from the metro. The surrounding roads are lined with trees, incense stalls and cheap places to eat so its an ideal backpacker spot. The staff were very nice and the hostel building is very pretty. There is a nice bar but not really a decent common room which is a bit of a shame. I went on thehostel-organised jinshaling to simatai great wall hike which was very enjoyable. The dorm beds are comfortable and the rooms are ensuite and provided shampoo, soap and toilet paper which is quite novel for a hostel in China!all in all a very nice place to stay.

Liked: we really enjoed our stay the rooms are nice and big the staff are extremly helpful anything you want just ask then and they can usually help you out. The location is great nice and close to the subway. Not the biggest fan of the food in the resturant but the breakfast was good! All in all a great place to stay!!
