Liked: It is a really good place to stay, situtated in the old Hutongarea. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Perfect was to rent a bike!

Disliked: That all the exit air of the air conditioner goes in the backyard. It makes it undescribable hot and stuffy on the second floor. But I have no idea how to make it better.

Liked: We stayed in the 6bed dorm and were pleasantly surprised. We had a bathroom in the dorm that always had hot water. Staff wasn't super friendly but helpful. Bar and restaurant was nice with decent food. Rooms were clean. Overall a good stay especially for the price

Liked: Great location - tucked away in a hutong and right near the Lama Temple, the subway and plenty of great restaurants.

Disliked: Staff were knowledgeable and helpful, although a little perfunctory.

Liked: Very close to main bus station in Chengdu.Many excellent services.Everything else is very good.

Disliked: no windows in all rooms... unfortunately i can never recommend a windowless room. the staff is not nice like in other Chinese hostels that i have been to

Liked: Outstanding location (next to two subways that connect to most everywhere, and next door to Lama Temple which is not to be missed), good staff, excellent Great Wall Tour (Jinshanglin > Simatai)!! Would recommend to anyone!

Liked: This is a great location. It is very close to a metro line and right next to the Lama Temple. It is one of the Hutong's but is very easy to find. The hostel was clean and the dorm I stayed in had a very nice private bathroom to share between 6 people. Breakfast was excellent and very reasonably priced (I had an omelet and toast for 20 RMB).

Liked: Had an AMAZING stay here! This is my second year of travelling and this hostel is up there with the best. The location is brilliant - being right near a clubbing/bar district (a must see is club mao when they have live bands on... friday night is a good one!!). You are right near the subway and restaurants (along ghost road). AND if you are friendly to Laura, she will be the biggest star to you!!!

Disliked: There wasn't much to dislike except for the balcon area (not the main seating area) was absolutely boiling due to no air conditioning in this area... but like i said, it wasn't a central area for conversation etc.

Liked: Very friendly, english speaking staff, and fine rooms after chinese standards.

Disliked: The rooms are very thin walled,so people speaking in the hall appear loud in the rooms.

Liked: It was mostly quiet and the food menu at the bar had a lot of western cuisine which suited me when I was sick.

Disliked: It was very hard to meet people at this hostel, there was no one main living area where you could meet people and no group activities.

Liked: Staff is helpful, hostel near subway station, don't get ripped off by taxi drivers from airport (it's 2 RMB per km - we paid 180 instead of 80, ask for reciept & have directions written in chinese), 3 free PCs at hostel and they can book train/plane tickets, hostel has tours at fair prices.,
