Our information booth has information on cultural entertainment such as folk dances, Chinese orchestra performances, kung fu demonstrations, traditional ceremonies, Chinese opera, folk song performances etc.
We can arrange acrobatic shows, art gallery visits, ikebana classes, calligraphy classes, Chinese painting and cooking classes, and many other activities for groups.

Accommodation Information

We have 60 rooms, all of which have a private bathroom, air-conditioning with temperature control, TV, internet and bathrooms. 4 and 6 bunk dormitory rooms with lockers, linen & duvet provided. Single (one-person bed) rooms, linen and duvet provided.
(Note: Our rooms had no windows, but the quiet and warm)

Location Information

Golden Pineapple Youth Hostel is located at Dongzhimen Wai, Xinzhong Jie, Dongcheng District, (opposite the No.55 middle school and south gate of seasons park, beside the No.2 sun city building). It’s only a 5 minutes walk from the Worker's Stadium (Gongrentiyuchang), near to the Foreign Embassy district and Western sections of Beijing, adjacent to the famous Sanlitun "Bar" Street entertainment area.
The airport shuttle bus stops at Dongzhimen every 30 minutes. From the new Dongzhimen Traffic Center to the hostel is only a 10 minute walk, and from the Dongzhimen Traffic Center by subway to the airporttakes about 15 minutes. Our hostel is also conveniently situated 10 minutes walk away from Dongsishitiao Subway station (line No.2) or Dongzhimen Subway station (line No.2).
Nearby attractions:
Chaoyang Park is located 2 km from our hostel. For your shopping needs you will find the Yashiu market within a 20 minutes walk, and the Oriental Ginza Mall Plaza shopping complex located opposite the Dongzhimen subway station, a 10 minutes walk from the hostel. Close to the hostel there is an international post office, banks and ATM facilities which make changing money.There is a 24 hour convenience store (Seven Eleven) next to our hostel. A short walk from the hostel and within the Worker's stadium you will find the "Blue" Zoo, tennis court, bowling alley (yellow building), and the gymnasium building.
