Liked: Currently, the single rooms ensuite are really cheap considering their quality (hot shower, air cond, TV). Also, the location is great. I really recommend the place.

Liked: It's nice, clean, not the cheapest in the area (slightly cheaper rooms at a nearby hosdtel), obviously a backpackers place, safe, the staff speaks English which is important.

Liked: It was clean, the staff was friendly and very helpful, they had AC in our double twin room, there was a cafe/restaurant downstairs with surprisingly great food and coffee, and the location was great! Really enjoyed our stay : )

Liked: the Coffees! and the location - close enough to everything but quiet at the same time. Internet connection coud have been better though (only available in the coffee/lounge area and that closed at 12 everynight...)

Liked: clean rooms; door card system;, 24hr availability of staff member at entrance; location (LOCATION, LOCATION!!!) - nice and central; tour bookings at the hostel and pick-up service by tour guides - EXCELLENT!!! Candy is excellent staff member - so friendly and charming! Facilities are good for the price.

Liked: The staff were extremely helpful, going out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. There were also excellent tours at great rates offered directly from the hostel, so we did not have to waste time trying to find tours to book.

Liked: I was amazed by how great the Sanlitunr hostel turned out to be. After coming from a horrible Hostel in Hong Kong, I would rate this as a "5 star hostel" if there is such a rating. I made a bunch of friends, the staff is very friendly, and the location is great. There are many restaurants and bars close by in addition to the dong shi shitao subway station. There is also both wired and wireless internet in the rooms, the rooms are clean, and atmosphere is very friendly. The only drawback is that many people smoke inside the hostel but then again China has no laws preventing this so its perfectly legal.

Liked: The people there are really nice. Talk to Sunny at the bar, that girl is wonderful. The rooms are nice and warm on the coldest day of the year. :) Really liked this place

Liked: Directions to the hostel were good so easy to find. Staff were very helpful. Needed to change a sheet as it was dirty but it was done straight away. We had to check out a few days early due to unforeseen circumstances and they gave a full refund without question.
