Liked: Incredibly good value for money. The bar is heaps of fun and the tours that they offer are excellent and also good value for money.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Good location if you want to go to the bars at Sanlitun.

Disliked: There was no water the first day and it was not fixed until 11pm. On the day I left there had been a water leak on the ground floor and it smelled pretty bad.

Liked: Ok location, and and a good place to meet other backpackers. Good food in the bar and a really good atmosphere.

Disliked: Few bathrooms and showers. Could have used an update on their airconditioners.

Liked: Easy access to all the major clubs, bars and western restaurants.About 10 mt walk to the nearest subway.

Disliked: They don't provide towels so bring your own. Slow internet and/or computers. No vpn/proxy.

Liked: the location was amazing..Yashou Market just down the road, subway station the other end and loads of shops, bars and restaurants all around

Disliked: although there was a bar to hang out in..there was no common room to relax in and use the internet or read a book without having drunk people shouting.

Liked: There was staff available 24/7, they were really helpful, they spoke English, and they were very knowledgeable about the area.

Liked: Once you were inside, it seem clean

Disliked: Everything, the location was at the back of a building site, car parking lot, did not look inviting at all. The staff were very unfriendly, and not helpful, food was very pricey, and so was the beer, and they made no effect getting people together and talking.... not a fun place to stay. No choice of movies or music..... Just boring!! They also lost my train ticket, very unprofessional and did not make me feel comfortable at all.

Liked: Loved the Bohemian feel of the social area- I felt like I was in France!

Disliked: Nothing really- bar the building works around but they can't help that!

Liked: This may be the perfect hostel. Unbelievably cheap, great staff, very clean and a great location. You can stop looking for other places to stay now!

Liked: They have a nice bar. You can drink good draught beer there. Staff is really friendly and helpful. They sent a way description after we had booked. We did not find the hostel in the darkness although we were already very close to it. People around adviced us to take a taxi but we asked again at the reception of another hotel. The reception gave Sanlitun hostel a call and told us to go to the next traffic light where we were picked up

Liked: EVERYTHING! Great atmosphere. Great Restaurant and Bar. Extremely helpful staff. 10 minute walk to the metro. Free activities every night. Clean rooms and bathrooms.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing, Best hostel I've ever stayed at.
