Liked: Situated just in the center of Beijing. Very quiet Hutong you wouldn't believe you are in a huge city. Nice interior. Bycicle rent cheaper than in other hostels.

Liked: Exellent location and an amazing unique setting.It is located in a Hutong, just north of the forbidden city, and is quite easy to find as it is very well signed from the main road.I stayed in a double room with an ensuite bathroom.The best hostel I have ever stayed in.

Liked: This place is a great spot to see beijing from... a little hard to find to begin with but the handout they give you on arrival is amazing and details all the bus routes to the most popular sites in the city.

Liked: Incredibly friendly, helpful staff; great location - central, easy to find, but in a very authentic feeling hutong; fab value-for-money; helpful info re buses, and great tours at a fraction of the costs advertised elsewhere. Lovely courtyard to sit and chill in; free internet access on the two computers in the courtyard a real bonus for planning rest of trip.

Liked: The staff are really friendly and will go out of their way to help you. The hostel is within walking distance of the Forbidden City, and is located in a "hutong" (small alley) where you can see how the Chinese live. An excellent place to meet other travelers to site-see with. Will definitely stay here when I return to Beijing someday!

Liked: Rachel and Rick are possibly the friendliest people in Beijing, to add to the general friendliness of people there ! The hostel itself is a little difficult to find from the main road, but worth the windy route through a trad Hutong to get to this Oasis of calm, super clean rooms, excellent food, great company and very down to earth, could not have asked for anything better ! This is possibly the BEST hostel in Beijing, ask any1 !

Liked: Great atmosphere, very clean, only to bring some earplugs because people stay at late chatting and some rooms face the main lobby. But I think that make this place so wonderfull. The owners are great people and always helping. I really recomend this place. Of all hostels the nr 1 without any doubts.

Liked: This was a great place to stay. The owners speak very good english and literally could not be more helpful. The covered courtyard is a very cool communal space, and beer is wonderfully cheap.Its quite a small place so its down to luck who you'll be staying with, but were all good people when I was there so not a problem.

Liked: Everything was so great at City Walls - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, and would definitely go back there. The only trick is finding it in the Hutong, but the neighbours were friendly and directed us there (would be difficult to find at night). We highly recommend this hostel stay. The people running the hostel were so helpful and friendly!! Terrific!!
