The Hotel is built in the typical, old Beijing architectural style with a compound of courtyards with well-protected Chinese-style lanes, or hutongs, outside the hotel. After stepping through the old-style red gate, you will be encircled by traditional Chinese cultural artefacts, pavilions and attics.

Outside the hotel, you can walk through the well-protected Chinese-styled lanes, with the Chinese name of Hutong. You will have exclusive opportunity to witness the true Chinese daily life from the unique viewpoint. Every time you pass Hutong, you may get further understanding about the life style and thought of Chinese people, which will significantly increase the interests and rewards for your stay in Beijing.
