Liked: The staff members are very friendly and helpful. The hostel is in a good location close to the subway. My private room was quite decent for a hostel. Much nicer than when I stayed in the dorm! This hostel even offered a free cooking class!

Liked: good atmosphere, clean, functional rooms, all working well. Lovely staff, v. helpful, generally good english, lovely bar/restaurant, small and cosy. Good internet access, free. Location great, although initially a bit hard to find, as down a one way hutong, and can't be seen from the main road

Liked: The hostel is nice. We had a medical emergency while staying there and the staff were very helpful. One staff member, Judy, stayed with us at the hospital translating from Chinese to English for over four hours! Thank you!

Liked: Tucked away in a very distinct hutoun area of Beijing this diamond shines out from the distance. The staff is very helpful and very friendly, and they really help you settle in. They have a great kitchen and dvd room to hang out in, and the hostel itself is one of the cleanest i've ever stayed in. The only really draw back is that most things are a short taxi ride away (usually no more than 10 RMB ~ so about 5 or 10 minutes). I'd definitely recommend it to anyone coming to the area.

Liked: Everything. The staff are all lovely, speak very good english and are very helpful. The double rooms are fantastic for the price. Location of the hostel is great, close to everything. Great facilities in the hostel. Keep up the great work guys!!

Liked: The friendly and helpful staff who spoke very good English. Rooms good standard. DVD room a really nice touch and the restaurant is also good. Would be even better if internet was free - and tours should be cheaper (they are elsewhere).
