Tucked away in a very distinct hutoun area of Beijing this diamond shines out from the distance. The staff is very helpful and very friendly, and they really help you settle in. They have a great kitchen and dvd room to hang out in, and the hostel itself is one of the cleanest i've ever stayed in. The only really draw back is that most things are a short taxi ride away (usually no more than 10 RMB ~ so about 5 or 10 minutes). I'd definitely recommend it to anyone coming to the area.

Everything. The staff are all lovely, speak very good english and are very helpful. The double rooms are fantastic for the price. Location of the hostel is great, close to everything. Great facilities in the hostel. Keep up the great work guys!!

The friendly and helpful staff who spoke very good English. Rooms good standard. DVD room a really nice touch and the restaurant is also good. Would be even better if internet was free - and tours should be cheaper (they are elsewhere).

Mr. Bee and Louise (plus all the girls on staff) were terrifically helpful! Though he didn't speak much English, Billy the young chef in the restaurant in back made some of the most delicious meals I ate in China. From breakfast to lunch to dinner the food was always well worth eating. Highly recommended. Met some very interesting people there as well. Convenient location in old picturesque hutong near subway station.

The staff speak really good english and can help you with any question and it is one of the most important things travelling in China. Second thing is convenient transport system and third - very good atmosphere. It made our visit to Beijing more special and unforgetable.
