Liked: The staff in the hostel was very nice and helpful. the spoke very good english in comparision to other chinese people. If you don't stay there in the high season you have a room for yourself sometimes with your own bathroom. I came back for a second time...

Liked: The staff at the hostel were very friendly and personal and made us feel very welcome! Staying in a hutong was also a nice experience that you wouldn't get from staying at a regular hotel.

Liked: Very clean room and bathrooms.There was no sign out side the building to say where or what it was. This needs to be seariously addressed, everybody that stayed here couldnät find it and had to ask. A simple sign on the outside would be enough. Or a better explinantion of where it was. The dark alley you have to walk down is a scarry prospect on your first visit to china. Other than that its very nice.

Liked: Very clean and secure. Lots of info available in the reception area.Didnt find one taxi driver who knew how to reach the hostel. Make sure that you have the address written down in LARGE Chinese characters. Taxi drivers were unable to read the location from the map provided by the site.

Liked: Super staff in this place - genuinely friendly and really helpful, especially with giving directions to just about anywhere in Beijing. Lovely location right in the heart of a non-touristy hutong.

Liked: Nice courtyard setting in traditional hutong. Free wireless internet is always good. I'm told the free shampoo smells nice. No complaints.

Liked: Perfect place to meet people and to have fun. Really good location, close to bars, restaurants and bus stop. Easy access from airport. Note to self though streets all have the same name around there. Make sure you take the Hutong (which means alley) Xisi Bei 7 Tiao and than, once you are on this alley, look for number 29.
