Customer reviewI mostly liked the very friendly staff and the good atmosphere, they helped me a lot with the organisation of my holidays and gave me all the help you need in China as a foreigner.The location of the hostel is very nice, because it is situated in a typical Hutong, an all Chinese neigbourhood. Its about 30 min. walk to the forbidden city. |

Customer reviewEverything! We have been travelling for 5 months now around the world and have stayed in MANY hostels. This one has been the best. All the amenities -- internet, food, book exchange, laundry -- plus the most friendly and helpful staff we have ever met. To top it off, the courtyard house setting is beautiful. Would HIGHLY recommend. |

Ben BrownVery clean room and bathrooms. There was no sign out side the building to say where or what it was. This needs to be seariously addressed, everybody that stayed here couldnät find it and had to ask. A simple sign on the outside would be enough. Or a better explinantion of where it was. The dark alley you have to walk down is a scarry prospect on your first visit to china. Other than that its very nice. |

Make sure that you have the address written down in LARGE Chinese characters. Taxi drivers were unable to read the location from the map provided by the site. |
