Liked: Very helpful staff, clean and tidy, close to centre and on good bus route(22), good food, nice surrounds, internet available.

Liked: The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. One of the cleanest places i've been in china. The rooms without bath are ok - bathrooms and toilet in the hall are really ok and clean. That makes it dead cheap

Liked: The staff can speak english very well. They can make very good coffee thanks to the Aussie group that stayed and taught them well. Would come back again

Liked: Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is safe and peaceful. Good transporttation connections, even though sights and city centre are several kilometres away. Very authentic milieu. Many restaurants and shopping centres nearby.

Liked: Common room and courtyard are great places for meeting people/hanging out/drinking. The staff are friendly and speak reasonable english. It's close to public transport and the tours they arrange are excellent.

Liked: Its location near the city centre. The convenience of local transport. Information readily provided by the hostel. The smilling attitude of the staff.

Liked: DVD player was on offer. Good food although the drinks were a little pricey. Not far from the centre, about a 30 mins walk or 10mins on the bus. In the Hutong so it gives you a traditional experience.

Liked: The hutong area is great counterbalance for the skyskapers that are being built in the new parts of Beijing. The coyrtyard of the hostel is a great place to eat breakfast.
