Liked: The owner is very friendly. He welcomes you with a cup of coffee or tea and explains about the surrounding areas, how to get around, what to see, and also explains about the no-go areas. The breakfast is super, it starts with fresh fruits and then lots of choice in what to put on your bread (cheeses, jams, ham, butter). There's a book exchange and the internet is good.

Disliked: The room next to the kitchen (with ensuite) can be noisy due to the thin wall.

Liked: We had a wonderful time at La Nona. Our room was very spacious and immaculately clean. Comfortable bed, excellent location, charming hosts. It was a pleasant walk to the best parts of town, and far enough to be peaceful for sleeping. We will definitely return if we are in Valpariaso again.

Liked: This was a great B&B with just three rooms at a great location on Cerro Alegre. Renee and Caroline are wonderful hosts and make sure that you hit the highlights in Valpo with detailed recommendations. Breakfest is great, the rooms are large and comfortable and they have various activities planned during the week. Go horseback riding - it was fantastic!

Liked: The house is a typical wooden house of Valparaiso,with its own atmosphere in one of the best neighboorhoods. The breakfast is very complete and diverse. All these goodies come at a price though, which be too high.
