Liked: This hostel was in the perfect location, situated between the old and new town. The breakfast was good for a change, a toasted cheese sandwhich, fresh fruit and yoghurt with plenty of coffee and tea. The staff were also friendly and the hostel security was great.

Disliked: There was one tiny common area far to small for the number of people staying at the hostel, it only had 5 seats. This room was also used for check-ins, breakfast, computer usage and meals area. We booked an 8 bed doorm room which was situated off this tiny common area making it loud until well after midnight. The doorm room did provide lockers, but was extremely crowded and there was no room for everyone's bags. The hostel only had 1 shower and 2 toilets for everyone to use, again inadequate for the number of people staying there. The kitchen was very small, only room for one group to cook and had no bench space.

Liked: Nice small Hostel in the middle of the City,....coloured walls,.....good bed,.....I enjoyed it!

Disliked: There is not really a commonroom,...and the kitchen is small,....but because you stay here most of the time walking round in the city,..that's not really a problem,....

Liked: Close to the centre, but ab bit uphill. Free Breakfast which was made for you.

Disliked: Dorm to the street can get quite noisy and sort of "living room" is directly in front of door to the room.

Liked: the rooms were big, nice, bright and comfortable with big lockers. we also got huge towels to use. the breakfast was nice, toasted cheese sandwhich with yoghurt and fruit plus tea or coffee. the decor in the whole hostel was really nice. there was a tv with spanish and english channels. towels and soap in bathrooms. good location. helpful staff

Disliked: the hot water ran out on one of the days while i was in the shower even though it said 24 hour hot water. the street outside could be loud at night but only one room was facing the street. the kitchen was small and the eating area was too. it was ok when we were there as the hostel wasnt busy but if it was then there wouldnt be much room for people.

Liked: Friendliness of the owner (Rodriguez), he was really helpful with giving us advice on where to visit. The hostal was clean and we felt safe and secure, if we Ncould have stayed longer we would.

Liked: the location is near the historic part of the city and breakfast was good.

Disliked: the facilities are not so good, the staff didn't recommend so much about what to do, of places to visit.

Liked: perfect, nice location, realy helpfull staff and realy good price, small hostel whith realy nice people... actualy, i was planing to spend just one night in valparaiso.... but i whill spend one more because its awesome

Disliked: the only problem was the shower, just one for the hole hostel.... but the hostel is small.... not a realy big deal

Liked: Rodrigo was very nice and helpful. He constantly offered advice about Valparaiso and asked about our next destination so he could give us advice on that also. Well equiped kitchen. Perfect location.

Liked: the hostel is located in a beatiful neibourhood of Valparaiso but really far away from the city centre, something that is not clear in the information about the hostel. there was a problem with the hot water and although it was obvious that they know about it since ages, they just do not do anything. the stuff is friendly and willing to help but it is not enough. it is really overprised for the services that provides. also i was really lucky to be offered a breakfast some minutes before of my departure since the girl of the stuff woke up late...because she went out the night before! Valparaiso has really good hostels. Do not waste your money in that...

Liked: This hostel had too few facilities for guests - we waited for over an hour in the morning for a shower but still could not get into the shower until the afternoon. Eventually when we did, the water was cold. There is no eating area for guests. No breakfast was given in the hostel as was advertised. The location is excellent however, free internet and the rooms are nice - it gets very noisy at weekends from street noise.

Liked: Hostal esta ubicado en un bueno barrio cerca de bares, restaurantes y sitios turisticos de interés. Es seguro. Las instalaciones son buenas, pero nuestra habitacion no tenia ventaja y la pared tenia olor de tinta fresca. Por la noche otros hospedes hacian mucho ruido en salon. En general nos gustó y recomendamos sí.

Liked: Out of the 10 or so hostels I have been to, this one was certainly the worst I stayed at. My room was fine (although not ready at 14"00 when I arrrived). However, the bathtub is coverred with mould and limescale! The kitchen is tiny and the sink always full of dirty dishes. The breakfast was not good ( and not ready whatsoever at 9"15 on a Monday morning), served in the lobby which doesn't have any window and proper table. The worst was certainly the receptionist: unpleasant and most unwelcoming! He should work in front of a screen instead of with customers! Only the owner of the hostel was polite. I was actually upset when I left the place and I wouldn't be able to recommend it at all.

Liked: Very nice hostel and very clean. If you like small, cosy hostels, this is your place. In a good location close to lots of bars. This can make it noisy at night though. The 3 bed dorm is much better than the 8 bed dorm - no windows, but no noise.
