Liked: Good location in Cerro Allegre/Concepcion. Nearby walking to many restaurants/cafes and a bar area.

Disliked: On the less clean side; not disgusting by any means but definitely the least tidy of the hostels during my stay in Chile.

Liked: Very good location, excellent breakfast, very friendly staff

Disliked: Not enough bathrooms, they were occupied all the time, especially in the mornings. Hostel had problems with hot water and electricity. The owner family lives downstairs with small children, which can be a bit annoying. For example they dry their clothes in the kitchen area and children are yelling, crying and running on the hallways.

Liked: Good staff, nice common areas

Disliked: a bit weird that the owners (with their two toddlers) live in the hostel. Makes for a great family vibe, but having kids running and screaming whilst trying to read is a bit irritating. Paying to use facilities after check-out is also incredibly tightfisted.

Liked: It's in a great location - the private rooms are nice, beds are good. The best thing about this place are the staff- they took us all out for dinner so great for meeting people. Jose also took us to a local bar we would not normally have gone to - yep good stay

Disliked: Shared bathrooms- even with private rooms, but that is a personal thing not the hostels fault

Liked: Wonderful people and a unique family home too! Beautiful spot in Valpo and the friendliest staff. Delicious breakfast!

Disliked: Kitchen was not the best I have seen but it did not spoil my stay at all!

Liked: Breakfast is class really enjoyed the scrambled eggs. The only problem was our room was next to tv room and other guests had no respect for people sleeping as tv was very loud at 2am!!

Disliked: Cathal left no negative feedback.
