We are a good and economical option for young and positive travellers We are 5 minutes’ walking distance from the bus station and are embedded in a simple and safe neighbourhood where you’ll see real life.

Our hostel is in a heritage building built in 1919. It has large bedrooms, great windows and equipped kitchens and bathrooms.

We provide different tourist services in an integral way, focused on transmitting and rescuing the cultural identity of Valparaíso and its region and revaluing the people and their customs.
Hostel NuevaMente looks to promote the identity of this port (Porteña) and Chile, in respectful terms of the arts, customs and manifestations of the people who live in this area. The hostel is attended by its owners, young geographers and lovers of the nature and the arts, whose purpose is to transmit the acquired knowledge of years of study about Chile and its people - especially about Valparaíso, World Heritage Site.

Accommodation Information

We have 8 beautiful and spacious bedrooms that come as doubles, twin, triples, quadruples, quintuples and shared. We have lockers available, as well as Wi-Fi internet throughout the building 24 hours a day.
We provide room keys and keys to the front door.

Our hostel has a good location; we are just a few meters from the bus station, restaurants, supermarkets, typical market place, theatre, libraries, beach, public transport, green areas and nightlife.
