 Extremely friendly owner and family. Always available to help and with whom to talk. Great New Years Eve party watching fabulous fireworks. Great location as well. Not fancy but makes up for it in charm.

The friendliness of the owner Trini & Alejandro, makes you feel very welcome and cleanliness, beatiful view from the patio over looking the harbour.

It's not a party hostel but that was fine with us. The view is amazing, the staff are really friendly and the hostel is immaculate (and the comfiest bed so far). We wished we had booked for longer! There is also a lovely restaurant across the road (Cafe Mirador).

Location!! What a view from our room and the terrace where we had breakfast. All Valparaiso spread out before us, twinkling on the dark hills at night. And our room was so spacious. And the hosts were great.

The owners are great and the views from the terrace and balcony are lovely. Plus, the breakfast is delicious compared to most hostels in South America.

The bed was one of the most comfortable and clean beds I have ever stayed in at a hostel and the view from the balcony at breakfast was the best in the city. The owners were very nice, and although it was a little difficult to find, it was well worth the journey. I highly recommend this hostel--it is more like a gorgeous little bed and breakfast. Perfect for a couple on a romantic vacation.

We stayed extra night because it was so nice!!! The owners are so helpful and it is more like a boutique Bed and Breakfast than a hostel.

Friendly,helpful people who speak English and Spanish, who have good knowledge of the town. The vista is beautiful and the hotel is clean, attractively furnished with comfortable beds and big rooms for guests. The breakfast is of fresh fruit, yogurt and bread which is fresh each morning. Tea and coffee is available at all times and the internet is there too. A perfect place for short or long stays.

Good points: nice balcony for breakfast, friendly owners, nice clean and bright rooms with good views of the port and nice towels and bed linen.
Other points: internet and tv were made available for use but not until 2nd and 3rd day of stay and these were in the private quarters. Quite noisy because of the port.
