Jose Mauel Gasco FernandezVery nice and quiet homely cozy place, with a great view of the harbour and town. Actually it doesn´t look like typical hostel at all, but rather like a big grandma´s house with lovely antique furniture, cats and garden. the owner are very nice people, very helpful and amiable! And the breackfast was also great and tasty: with coffe, tea, fresh bread, good cheese and ham and also some chilenian foods "palta" and "manjar". The only thing that was a little bit exhausting is to walk uphill from downtown to the hostel, but there is also a bus stop near the house. Although it was a nice weekend and we enjoyed our stay here , any time would come back again! Thank you very much! Manuel & Anna from Germany |

Peter RaeFantastic old converted house, extremely helpful and friendly hosts. Rooms good size with great views and heating. Good location in very central part of town (just a bit of a hike up hill but worth it for the views). Great breakfast - best we've had on our travels so far, fruit platter, bread, jam, juice and coffee - all plentiful. Highly recommended. |

Patrick J M van den HeeverThe friendlyness and professionalism of the owner run establish appealed strongly to us..They went absolutely out of there way to help with travel information etc etc. The well kept antique f940's style German house and furnishings was gorgeous Although we felt safe ourselves staying there i do believe a digital safe would have been appreciated. |

Valerie ScottThe owners are great, it´s in a beautiful location on Cerro Alegre, just a 30 min walk away to Neruda´s house and less to the harbor and downtown. Good breakfast as well. The only thing is it isn´t heated so bring warm pjs (they have heavy blankets too)! |

Alan ColemanLovely people, in best setting for the arty murals and close to night life, excellent breakfast (especially pancakes), good beds but only 1 shower and thin curtains (it was so sunny). Not a party place but a good place to be if you want more space- a family home not a hostel. And great for it. |
