Liked: Typical house on the top of the hill with a magnificent view of Valparaiso! Very warm, houselike welcome, good infrastructure and outstanding breakfast. If you want comfort and rest, not partying; excellent address. Top of the bill!

Liked: This place was honestly almost too nice to be a hostel. The duvets were plush, the breakfast was delicious, there was a fantastic view.

Disliked: It isn`t your typical party hostel, which is nice if you are looking for some sleep but if you are looking for a party look elsewhere

Liked: Best breakfast ever! Every single day! Warm bread (special kind), butter, jam... pretty normal so far, right? Add cheese, ham, strawberries, cherries, peaches, bananas, oranges, tea and coffee. Mmmmm! Delicious.I stayed in the 6 bedroom room for 9 nights... the beds and bedding are sooooo comfortable it was hard to get out of bed in the morning.Also felt very safe. Like a family house.

Disliked: Getting up the hill although I did find a "colectivo" that takes you to the door from the bottom of the hill for 350 pesos.

Liked: The location and everything were perfection. The view was incredible and the staff just as good. I would recommend this to anyone who needed a place to stay in valpo. And it was so cheap too!

Liked: The gracious hosts are both so welcoming and can not do enough for you, a really friendly couple. Lovely people (hello Lucia and Juan Pablo!) Our room had great views of Valparaiso and the house is in a perfect location on Cerro Conception for the wealth of local bars and restaurants. We ended up staying for 5 nights instead of 1.

Liked: This place is a little retro gem stuffed with beautiful furniture and things. The outside area is perfect for sharing wine, talk or asado, which they did for us. The rooms are clean the bedding excellent and well cared for. The best thing about this guest house has to be Lucia and Juan Pablo who make you feel very welcome, and look after you when things go a bit crazy as they do every now and again. Thanks guys

Disliked: I'm not a big cat lover and there are at least 5 cats. The kitchen was a bit smelly from the cats, but you get over it soon enough and just learn to keep all your stuff of the ledges and put away.

Liked: The staff are really friendly and the hostel has a very homely vibe. There are plenty of bathrooms, everything is clean and the kitchen is available for use. Best place to sit and enjoy the ocean views of Valporaiso!

Liked: The staff was insanely helpful, breakfast was awesome, and the cats were unbelievably friendly. Duvets made the beds comfy, in a safe part of town with a great view. It was a very nice and relaxed place to hang at. This is not a party hostel, nor should it be!

Liked: Only stayed for one night but the owners were brilliant. Very helpful and provided us with loads of information; they even phoned bus company for us. Rooms are nice and have fantastic views of city. Great bath, even better beds! Would recommend for a chilled out stay.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike, only the hill up to hostel from town...but you are staying in Valpariso!

Liked: Juan Pablo and Lucia are extremely welcoming and made us feel really at home. And the cats are very friendly too! The property is also in an excellent location, very close to some great restaurants and cafes and with fantastic views across Valpo.

Liked: Juan Pablo and Lucia, our hosts, were excellent and very helpful when we wanted information on the area, directions, taxis booked, etc. Very good location, handy to La Sebastiana and the areas of Cerro Allegre and Cerro Concepcion. Really clean, hot water available all day, much warmer than any of the hostels we stayed in in Santiago and the breakfast was great. Highly recommended.

Liked: Location is fantastic, view over Valparaiso brilliant! The owners Juan-Pablo and Lucia are really friendly, helpful and make you feel at home! Also the Breakfast was by far the best we had all over South America!
