Liked: pretty central location; very good for chile entry, because you can expect to earn all necessary and lots of helpful information for further journey; atmosphere: easy to come in contact with another travellers, mainly backpackers; a place you like from minute one or don't

Liked: Great hostel. The owner and staff are very friendly and I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. It was the best mattrice ever!The location is also amazing (though it doesnt look like at first!)

Liked: Like staying with friends. Great communal area. Funky music. Great wine tastings. Exceptionally helpful staff assisted with trips to vineyards, phoning to make arrangements and providing step by step instructions for public transport.

Liked: This hostel is great, encompases what a hostel should be. They speak english very well, have a kitchen where you can cook, and doors that lock on the rooms.

Liked: The staff were absolutely fantastic (particularly Pamela!!), and the facilities were great (though the lack of fans/ventilation in the bathrooms meant they got steamy quickly, hence the floor was a bit slippery at times). If I ever go back to Santiago, I'll be staying at La Chimba again.

Liked: This hostel had copious amounts of character, whilst situated in a prime location and offered breakfast, now you cant be bad to that !!!!
