Liked: that I could leave the day after I arrived

Disliked: the room they offered me as single traveller - I thought first it was the lugage storing room. No window at all, lang, small, a bed, no table. No Wifi in the room.

Liked: We just stayed one night before catching an early flight. I think we were the only ones there, and there was just one lady working. The lady was very accommodating, getting up early to make us breakfast for 6.45, and helping us organise a taxi.There was some construction work going on, but this was due to earthquake damage. Our double room was fine. We could get WIFI access in part of the bedroom.I don't think they speak English, as stated on the hostelbookers site. At least the lady we met (the only one there) did not. However they may have other staff we did not meet, as we were there just 1 night.Location is not really central, but it was close to the metro (5 mins walk). It's an ok budget option if you want to be on the side of town closest to the airport.

Liked: this hostal is the synthesis of what we have seen in all hostel we been before. we are travelling since 4 month already in south america.Best brekfast, internet wifi laundry kitchen everythingAMAZING I DO RECOMMEND THIS ADRESS IN SANTIAGO

Liked: very friendly and helpfull staff, allowed to check out when we wanted!!! which was handy since our plane to new zealand was near mid night, thank you very much hostal santiago!!!!

Liked: Great hostal, not expensive, but nice atmosphere. I can recommend this hostal, but the area of Santiago where it is is not one of the best

Liked: Right in the heart of the old Spanish quarter. Full of rustic charm. Close enough to night-life but far enough to be peaceful.
