Liked: The guests, the place it self had a nice atmosphere.

Disliked: The staff. All of them seem not to give a damn for the guests, i even heard them once talking (in spanish) really bad about two of the guests . I witnessed a;so one of them treating one guest with no respect at all, and when he was comfronted by another who i think was some kind of manager, he said that he didnt care about the character of the people. Those people should work on a hostel. Not to forget! My advice is to stay away from the friday noght bbq, it was so bad that words cannot describe it.

Liked: Good vibe. People who work there as the travelers I met there were very kind.

Liked: This place was great! You have fun everytime you need to unlock you room with the modern lock system too. The staff were friendly, the location was great, the beds and showers were great, the terrace was great and the place was quite big with many areas to hang out, rest, relax or talk with people

Disliked: The rooms were locked shut with no ventilation so you can imagine the air in there sometimes.

Liked: Good social atmosphere. Great location in Bellavista, only a block from a ton of restaurants/bars. Only a few minutes walk from Pablo Neruda's house and Cerro San Cristobal, and from the Baquedano metro station.

Disliked: Depending on what room you get it could be very different experience. Many of the private rooms are in a separate, adjacent building, which kept it quiet for sleeping and seemed to have cleaner bathrooms than the main building that houses the dorms.

Liked: great location. Near all the bars and restaurants in the area. roof top area good.

Disliked: people don't really mix with each other, especially if you are put in the annex which is in a separate building.

Liked: Great location and a very interesting layout. Nice terrace area.

Disliked: Staff was not very hospitable. Felt like I was imposing on the guy's time when I checked in.

Liked: The roof top terress was a perfect place to meet people a chill out. The location could not have been any better minutes from the action and nice comfy beds

Liked: good location in the bellavista area, where all the bars and restaurants are. also 5 min walking from metro station were the red and blue line stop. these go to main bus stations and downtown. We had a great spacious double room with our own balcony

Disliked: it is not the best place for sleep in the weekend. the bar dancing across the street has loud music until 5 am. Then at 9 am the music from the hostel starts. The staff plays loud music all day, fun in the day and evening but in the morning it wakes you up.

Liked: The staff is amazing and very helpful. Location is perfect with great neighbourhood. Very clean. Definitely reccommended

Disliked: Nothing to deslike. Just a tip for travellers, use those showers near the pool table. The 2 ones near the kitchen are so bad

Disliked: Showers suck! It's just impossible to take a whole shower with hot water... it would become cold after some time and then hot again... and then cold... really bad.

Liked: The room was very big and clean. The bed was very comfy and we even had a heating in the room. We arrived early around 7 am and still we were able to get into our room, which was great after a long busride! Staff wasn't too friendly but probably just tired after the night as well. We had great Wifi connection in our room,which isn't usual for South America. Showers were warm and clean.

Disliked: Our room was located in another building so whenever we needed something from the staff or eat breakfast, we had to leave the building and walk along the street to the main building- which could be pretty freezing during the night or at early hours in the morning.

Liked: super fun atmosphere, the people were really nice! we went out to a club around the corner. also the hostel helped me a bunch when i made a reservation for the wrong night, they let me cancel the other and set me up with a room.

Disliked: nothing much! little noisy but i was in the rom right on the street, so if i had been in another place it would've been quieter.

Liked: I liked everything, the location is good, has plenty of bars around, is about the same center. The staff are great, they help with everything, give tips on where to go and what to do. It's worth staying there

Liked: chill staff, totally down to hang out with the guests. guitar to abuse.

Disliked: The only thing I didn't like was that the common rooms were freezing cold. Also, bear in mind it's a pretty social hostel, so maybe not the best place if your number one priority is sleep.

Liked: Bellavista Hostel is a very nice place to stay in Santiago. Been here 2 weeks and enjoyed it sooo much! You just can´t do your homework (for the languages clases) anywhere as there is always a friendly soul around! Meet awesome people, go an ski trips and get some more tips from the friendly staff.

Disliked: The shower get really hot unfortunately they sometimes wouldn´t work properly. But just tell the staff and they fix it instandly!
