Customer reviewWe really liked Happy House. The double room was lovely. We were a bit worried about noise as it was right next to the bar but we didn´t get disturbed at all. The squeaky floorboards are probably the worst noise! Nice social areas and lovely building. Definitely one of the nicer places we´ve stayed. Close to bars in Barrio Brasil and easy enough to get the Metro to other areas. |

Customer reviewBeautiful hostel, everything was brand new and brilliantly clean. It wasn´t in the best area as far as tourist attractions, nightlife and restaurants are concerned, though the centre of town was just a short walk. Very good breakfast, the best we´ve had for a while! |

Dona FoucaultBeautiful hostel. Great staff. Lovely rooftop terrace. Cons: Despite rooftop terrace, smokers are allowed to smoke in bar room on main floor. Smell of smoke fills the hostel during these occasions. Internet is VERY temperamental. Also, as in all of Chile, you have to get used to the sounds of stray dogs outside barking/fighting throughout most of the night. |

Customer reviewThe building itself is beautiful, it's been really well renovated, and is certainly the nicest looking hostel I have stayed in. |

Richard NormanWe arrived hot and tired on a sunday morning at 0730. By chance we rang the bell. Not only were we allowed in, but we were given hot coffee and comfy chairs. What more can you ask for? |

Peter MorrsseyDorm rooms were large, and I think most if not all have big doors leading onto a balcony, so the fresh air can come in. The hostel is quiet roomy overall, nice TV room, good kitchen. Only let down was the bloody constantly wet floors in the showers because of poor 'design' once somebody had the first shower......and the loos are a little weird. Double rooms, or matrimonials looked excellent though. |
