Liked: very nice hostel suitable for all travallers great location. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is the best i have had yet on my travels. hot showers.

Disliked: The extra tax when you check. and it costs more to pay in there own currency? Doesnt tell you on hostelbookers?

Liked: The hostel is very clean, staff are very helpful. It is in a great location near to the center and the trendy Bellavista area. The TV room area is great and the kitchen has everything you need...though decent pots and pans with handles would be helpful

Disliked: The 6bed drom room was very small in terms of space and no ladder for top bunk. The hostel needs to get equipment to use skype and the breakfast is ok could be a little varied.

Liked: It was in a fairly good location - although difficult to find to begin with.

Disliked: It is tiny and cramped. Its absolutely freezing, theres no heating and the showers were completely cold all the time. The breakfast is pretty pathetic (bread rolls and thats it) and our room was dirty, so dark we could barely see and smelt like old cigarettes and pot. We moved after two nights. Theres heaps of cheaper and MUCH better places. I would not recommend this place at all.

Liked: Great location, central to everything. Very clean. Excellent kitchen that is kept spotlelly clean. Nice areas just to sit & relax. Friendly, helpful staff.

Liked: The location is perfect for a brief visit to Santiago.

Disliked: There was a lot of noise and the beds in the first room i was in almost fell apart.

Liked: Good scrambled eggs for breakfast. Nice lounge and bar areas.

Disliked: Our room was on main corridor and could be noisy with people coming and going.

Liked: Good location.

Disliked: Staff could have been more friendly/interested. An ok hostel but felt it was a little overpriced for the type of room compared to similar hostels in the area.

Liked: friendly welcome from Blanca and the staff, good double room which was upstairs,

Disliked: downstairs rooms looked a bit dark and damp. good kitchen facilities.

Liked: good location

Disliked: its ok, pretty expensive though and there are deposits for absolutely everything. also dont like paying upfront, even before we saw the room (they charge an extra 5% to pay by credit). the room was ok, though the bed felt a bit itchy and there was a leak in the bathroom which went through to the bedroom. if you dont mind staying in bellavista as opposed to bellas artes its probably better value the other side of the river.

Liked: I liked this property becuase of its location. It was not directly downtown which was nice because it was quieter. But it was within a reasonable walking distance of the downtown area. Otherwise things like the grocery store were very nearby as well as the subway.

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff, and they speak English (not everyone speaks fluent Spanish when they arrive in South America). The location seems very close to most things you´d want to see or do, and the metro.
