Aconcagua is the third and newest hostel of the successful chain of Santiago Atacama hostels. We are located in a privileged neighborhood of Santiago just few steps to Bellavista and Barrio Manuel Montt where you’ll find the best bars, restaurants and pubs of the capital.

Our big house has everything you need to spend some time resting in a pleasant and friendly and relaxed environment.

We have shared and individual rooms. Our staff are known for their good mood and spirit, being 100% of the dedicated to service. The reception is open 24 hrs to allow you to return whenever you want.

In the hostel you will find all the information you need to visit places in the city and around. We have all kinds of flyers, brochures with maps and news of the highlights of what is going on about parties, shows, art and culture.

As is tradition in the chain, come enjoy a delicious Chilean BBQ every Thursday with an international and fraternal environment with a lot of beer, wine, meat and lots of pisco.

Accommodation Information

We have all kinds of rooms in our hostel, from single rooms and shared bathrooms to ensuites. In private rooms you will find air conditioning, heating and cable TV.

We also have a cafeteria, a games and reading area, an area with Wi-Fi and free computers for those who do not have one, 24 hours reception, laundry, BBQ area, public telephone, fully equipped kitchen, refrigerator and tourist information.

The Aconcagua Hostel is located in the best, most secure, clean, and attractive suburb of Santiago. In its surrounded you will find many alternatives to move around (subway or bus). Additionally, we are located very close to regional bus and flight agencies.

Furthermore, our hostel is situated in an area that was built last century, depicting an astounding atmosphere where you will be able to see amazing infrastructure. Walking north you will find the renowned Mapocho River which will take you to the San Cristobal hill, the main symbol of the city.

Here, you can practice all kind of outdoors activities, from trekking to cycling, and out of any doubt the most beautiful sightseeing in the capital. If you want to go shopping Providencia suburb is a splendid place. Here you will find the most famous shops and handcraft markets particularly attractive for shoppers looking for Lapislazuli made ornaments.
