Liked: Best Breakfast in South America!!Without a doubt the best staff.... ever so helpful (took us on a tour round the city), made you feel like part of the family, pisco sour nights, mould wine nights, went out clubbing with the whole hostel etc....Quick internet, comfy sofas, very intimate hostel so very easy to meet people. Would definitely recommend it.

Liked: An excellent hostel with a really good atmosphere. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They even gave us free Spanish lessons! One of the best places I have stayed during my time away. The breakfasts are amazing too!

Liked: The staff are very friendly, it´s a small sociable hostel. It can be a little noisy though due to the traffic outside. Otherwise, a really great hostel!

Liked: Probably the best hostel in South America, and I've stayed in a few... Pato (the owner) and the staff are the friendliest, coolest people and will do everything to make you feel at home - including making mulled wine and pisco sours on the house... The house is clean and safe, the beds are ridiculously comfortable, and even thought it's one of the cheapest places in Santiago it includes an amazing breakfast for free. It's a small place so it's just a really nice place to hang out and meet other travellers - lots of who (like me) are repeat visitors who liked it so much they came back... If you're going to Santiago, this is the only place to stay!

Liked: Without a doubt, the most enjoyable hostel experience I have ever had and I've been traveling since 2003. It has been that much fun here and the staff are that friendly, that I am still here now as i right this 4 weeks after arriving in Chile.Congrats to Pato, Diego, Nico, Gonzalo and of course Tia Ester for the most amazing and tasty breakfasts!

Liked: Amazing hostel - really small so there is a familiar and cosy feel, but also very sociable. Hot shower in a proper bathroom and decent internet. Cracking breakfast and awesome staff. Be sure to go partying with Pato when you stay!

Liked: The staff were anazing! Big Cheers to Pato and the staff! Muy Bien Excelente! I have traveled alot sth america europe australia and the Don Santiago hostel is one of the best i have stayed at safe, fun relaxed ppl excelent facilities and breakfast was amazing!

Liked: Fantastic place to stay in santiago, 3-5 minute walk to 2 different tube lines, Pato and all the staff make you feel so welcome and this is definately our favourite hostel on our RTW trip so far.It's as close to feeling like you're in your own house as possible, such a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. We met some great people here and would always go back here if we were to stay in Santiago. Thanks Pato & Diego!

Liked: this was one of the best hostels i stayed in in south america. the staff are more like friends and we all just hung around together...we even had a pisco sours going away party when we left. pato and all the rest of the crew were always eager to help and provide any information needed. all the staff spoke fluent english. the rooms were nice and the hostel was spotless. patos aunt also makes the nicest breakfasts and we were only sorry we couldnt take her with us.

Liked: If you want to be kept up till 3.30am with people partying downstairs.... Well, its good appart from the obvious! Good staff, cheap, small, really good atmosphere etc..

Liked: All artists, designers & musicians, this is your place! Pato & Diego are cool. I got good tips to find second hand clothes and surely they know the best gig's. (A pity i missed the Diego's one!) Just ask them... I was also one of the Pato's lucky Spanish students, this place was the best imaginable start for my South American trip... Muchas gracias guys! (Also for the mulled wine tasting night.) Oh yeah and it's located near enough everything&is clean&super cosy&has a lovely fruity brekkie...
