Liked: Good atmosphere and fairly good breakfast. The rooms were spacious.

Disliked: The bathrooms definitely need an overhaul. The kitchen is tiny and lacking space for guests. The staff gets a much higher priority with 4 cupboards to 1 for guests.

Liked: close to metro station friendly owner and workers

Disliked: bed bugs - got eatten alive and had to move to another place, not well kept up (dingy furniture, holes in ceiling, moldy bathrooms) very noisey - people coming and going at all hours of night and they were very noisey. breakfast was white bread and jam

Liked: Itsan awesome place to stay. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. You can reach the metro within 2 minutes walking time. A supermarket is just around the corner. The hostel has a nice atmosphere and you will most likely meet some people from all over the world in the living room. The kitchen is well-equipped and has everything you need (also for longer stays). The beds are quite comfortable. The bathrooms could do with some cleaning but in general I'd defenitely recommend this place for everyone that wants to have a great time in Santiago de Chile. I feel quite at home here after my 20 days stay.

Liked: Great atmosphere and feels like a house. The kitchen is a great place to cook together and meet other travellers. A hostel I keep returning to stay at!

Disliked: Wifi is a little intermittent but generally good.

Liked: It was the first time I ever stayed in a hostel and I have to say it was a wonderful experience! The location couldn´t be better. We were a group of 3 20-year-old girls and could go out during the night without any problem! The metro station + many buses are one block away. You find supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, just a few metres away! The beds were really comfortable! the building itself was cool. nice design. It was clean and the staff, Mrs Cecilia and the girls, really helpful. We only wanted a safe place to sleep and leave our staff, but finally we spend time with the other guests chatting, having fun, as the atmosphere was cool! Young people from diffent countries were there those days. I don´t know if we could have found a better place/location for that amount of money! I would go back if I decide to return to Santiago and want to have a low budget travel!

Disliked: the fact that one of the showers wasn´t working and being told that towels were included, which wasn´t true.

Liked: It was the stated price

Disliked: The shower was cold on more than one occasion, they did investigate however. Also I was going to book another stay but as I left a boy in another bed in my room said he had been ravaged by bed bugs!!!

Liked: Good location - walking distance to restaurants and bars in Bellavista, the Metro and a supermarket. The twin room has lockers which are useful.

Disliked: The kitchen is small, rundown and a bit dirty. Most of the rooms are around a courtyard so it is quite noisy. The breakfast was average.

Liked: Great location really easy to find and near the area where all the cheap drinks are. We got upgrade for free to a private room as the dorms were all being cleaned and redone. Its was great. Breakfast is tea and coffee, cereals and toast as much as you want, perfect way to start the day. Free internet aswell! we were very happy, 1 of the best hostels we have stayed in south america.

Liked: Staff were friendly, fairly good common area, near Bella Vista. Front gate was always locked.

Disliked: BED BUGS; they were everywhere, everyone in our 8 bed dorm got bitten by them and most of the rest of the hostel occupants as well. Not many showers for the amount of people and it was generally dirty.

Liked: Hostel was central and quiet for a good night sleep.

Disliked: We got so many bites of bed bugs that we had to buy medicine to make the swelling go down. After we left we had to wash all our stuff because we had them in our bags, too. We were camping out and had to clean every single day the tent etc to get rid off the bugs!!!! The kitchen wasn t clean at all.

Liked: Great location in the city with sights in walking distance and transport links on the doorstep. Nice airy building with lovely wooden floors, plenty of character, lots of communal bathrooms, and a adequate kitchen; all kept clean and tidy. This place was miles cheaper than anywhere else on Hostelbookers and we felt it was great value for money.

Disliked: Nothing apart from the cheaper to pay in US dollars thing which I probably just didn't understand when it was explained to me.

Liked: Simple breakfast, very well located, you can walk to bellavista and also to the center! I stayed in the twin room but i heard someone had problems with flees in the dorm, make sure they wont locate u in this bed!

Liked: Me encantó la buena onda de las chicas que atienden. La ubicación de clave. Está a unos pasos de la estación del metro. Está siempre limpio y tiene suficientes baños para todos. La música que ponen es muy buena.

Disliked: La computadora para siempre ocupada. Solo eso.

Liked: La gente, la ubicación, el orden, todo estuvo muy bueno. Solo me quedé un día, pero volveré dentro de 3. Cuando utilice todos los servicios (desayuno, ducha) comentaré al respecto.
