Liked: The hostel is run by Silvia, a local woman who knows the region well, can tell interesting stories, is very helpful and makes sure you´re satisfied with your breakfast. The hostel is in a very quiet area, safe, recently built or renovated and very clean.

Liked: This was by far the best hostel we've stayed in on our trip to Peru, Bolivia and Chile. Not the cheapest one, but the hospitality of Silvia (and in our case her son Javier) makes the stay worthwhile. On arrival the first thing Javier said: "Do you want coffee or thea?" Furthermore the place is quiet and cleaned every day. The breakfast is good and even had cheese (That is definitely a pro for us Dutch!). The hostel is at a 10-minute walk from the center but as it is a safe village this isn't a problem. There's free internet, Silvia brought us to the bus station, and in the end she even didn't charge us for the heaps of laundry! Conclusion: definitely a keeper!
