Liked: It is a wonderful place - quiet, comfy, the owner has all the info you need about Punta Arenas. We had a private room with a private bathroom - both spotlessly clean! definetely worth the money. It is not in the centre of the city, but it's only 10 minutes on foort, not a problem. The breakfast is nothing great, but then it's just like most breakfasts in Chile or Argentina. The homemade cake was a nice touch.

Liked: People were very friendly and helpfull. It was clean and near to the center.

Disliked: This is no backpackers place were you can meet other young people. More chileans than tourists from other countries...

Liked: The staff were fantastic and amazingly helpful! Always greeted us with a smile and nothing seemed to be a problem!! Definately went far and beyond of the things they could do for us, even sending us a phone that I forgot in the hostel!!!

Liked: Despite the language barrier, our host was a warm, friendly and hospitable lady who made us feel very welcome and did a mean load of washing. While the location is a bit out of town, it's more about the warmth and atmosphere of a place and despite being simple accommodation, it was a true backpackers' experience.

Liked: The daughter was very helpful, she drove us to the airport. The mother washed our clothes very rapidly. We had the impression to be in the family. We don't really speak Spanish but we had real conversations about the life in Punta arenas etc. It was a great place to stay.. and very cheap.

Liked: The family is fabulous, especially the daughter (who will try to talk to you about anything in which you're interested, even if you can't speak Spanish very well)
