Liked: really really friendly owners. one of the best hostels i have ever stayed in. hosts really helpful with suggestions etc. breakfast was great and met some interesting travellers as everone sat at the one table. cooked one evening and the kitchen facilities are good. i was given strawberries by the owner for desert. really nice touch - really reccomend this hostel

Liked: La amabilidad de los que lo regentan es excepcional. El ambiente relajado, con buena musica ambiente. Habitacion limpia.

Liked: Nice friendly (although quiet) family. Really went out of their way to help us with a bank problem and also to help some really rude travellers who didn´t really deserve it! Breakfast is sociable and tasty, with home made cakes and pancakes. Nice, quiet location about 7 mins walk from the centre and v close to supermarket.

Disliked: Sometimes the downstairs (communal area) was locked and we had to knock to be let in. They always let us in very promptly and were very friendly, but it was a bit weird for us. They do have a young son though, so we could understand.

Liked: Nearly everything was perfect! We really enjoyed our stay!

Disliked: The only disadvantage was the distance between the hostel and the center but you can get good and cheap connection going by collectivo.

Liked: Keoken is only 15mins walk from the centre of Punta Arenas. Friendly staff, clean rooms and probably the best bed I have had on my 2-month trip through South America. Would definitely stay here next time.

Liked: Great professional Chilean hospitality, the best breakfast we had on our trip, home made granola cakes and jams, fresh brewed coffee, hot chocolate and fresh warm toasted rolls. Nice new bathrooms, a useful kitchen. No complaints at all

Liked: COMFY beds, clean rooms and bathrooms, very sweet lady who runs the place. She got up early to give us breakfast before our very early bus. Very nice place. We would definitely stay there again.

Liked: It was clean and homely with nice bedrooms.

Disliked: A bit far from town, although only really a 10-15 min walk. Separate parts to hostel meant it wasn´t great for meeting people.

Liked: Good breakfast where you sat with other people round table so chance to compare notes! Hostel staff spoke good english and recommended tours and restaurants

Liked: kitchen fine free internet on slow computer and wifi breakfast included very nice rooms with big good beds and tv nice owners

Liked: I have been to a few hostels in the USA, Argentina & Chile. This is the best I have been so far. Seems like a little hotel, great value for money... A single room with shared bed costs only 5 dollars more than a 6 bed dorm in any hostel around. The staff is simply great; you ask something and they do, even if they have to call abroad to get an answer for you.

Disliked: It is a 8 minute walk from the downtown and supermarkets/groceries.

Liked: Quality of the facilities and common areas was so high and the staff were so friendly and helpful that we were happy to stay a second night. The location is peaceful and quiet, but close enough to shops, etc.

Disliked: The only negative aspect was a patch of mould on the ceiling of our room, which could pose problems for asthma sufferers.

Liked: None of the staff at the hostel spoke English, and as we only spoke a little spanish communication was a little hard, however not their fault!! But we tried to make a reservation for when we returned from Torres del Paines and when we did return they had not made the reservation, however the girl phoned another hostel, Hostel Anil and got us a room there, which was really lovely.

Disliked: EMMA left no negative feedback.
