Downtown Hostel

Downtown Hostel is perfectly fitted out and located right in the heart of Punta Arenas. The property is only 100 meters from the Coach Station and a block away from Torres del Payne National Park.
Please, note that for safety reasons and consideration to our guests we reserve the right to turn the lights off and shut the door at 23:00 h.

The Hostel has 24 hours hot water services. The kitchen is more sort of Coffee shop use, assuring a clean and fresh atmosphere for everybody!

In addition, José, the owner, has a specialized outdoor where he sells all the equipment you may need to excursions.

Accommodation Information

Our hostel has 4 rooms with interchangeable beds & very comfortable.

Guests have total independence, with keys of the hostel to go and come back as they please. The property is attended by its owners (Sonia and José) living in a neighbouring house, so guests can feel at their own.

Mountain House is the official Int´l distributor Marmot clothing and equipment in Chile. Our clothing store for all your mountain and backpacking gear!
Jose owns a specialized outdoor store at main street, where guests can find all they could need for their excursions, with a 12% special rebate!

Location Information

‘Downtown Hostel’ is at the very downtown of the city, within 100 meters to the Bus Station (buses to Puerto Natales), Torres del Payne National Park is just a block away, and two blocks away from Bories, the main street with restaurants, post office, supermarkets, shops, museums, internet, etc.
