I loved the old house charm of the place. The staff was excellent, especially 3 month old Amanda who always had a smile for me. The other best part is that during the earthquake, the house creaked but it did not come crasing down.
I do recommend the hostel install lockers in the rooms to keep valuables safe. The central heat does not heat the individual rooms and I was uncomfortable leaving my door open during the day.

Nice ample living room and kitchen. However, it´s a little off the town and you can run into staff that is rather ´reserved´ than helpful. Its also a choice of more olderly travelers.

Nice old-style house. Room was quite small to organise clothes and luggage. Quiet place close to center. Breakfast is ok, not huge. It was raining during one of the nights and the rain was very noisy on the roof of the ground floor, close to our first floor room.

Nice rooms, however, they let a couple sleep on a blow-up double bed right outside our room so it was a bit noisy.

We liked having use of the the kitchen and dining area, where we could cook and meet people. The kitchen is well organized and supplied, and people gather in the dining and common rooms for socializing.

We stayed in a double room which had a nice big bed (v welcome change from the rest of South America). However, the showers in both bathrooms were pretty poor - alternating from scorching hot to freezing cold...very frustrating as you end up spending ages in the (shared) bathroom..!

One of the best in Chile. Everything is nice, especially the kitchen, the nice veranda, good living room with fire place.
