About Hostel El Patagonico

El Patagónico is a small site, new, comfortable and cozy, nestled in an old house typical of the area. Adapted to provide the main services and attended by its owners. It is the ideal place to rest and plan the rest of your trip, our staff is fully qualified to assist the visitor in everything you need. We are Conventional and Mountain guide so we offer our knowledge to make your travel and all the trekkings in the area unique and memorable.
Our hostel is located in the heart of Puerto Natales, in one of the most privileged places, proximity to major bus terminals arriving in the city, two blocks from the main supermarket and only a half block from one of the more important avenues. It is the perfect place to relax and also to plan activities that take place in the National Parks of Torres del Paine or The Glaciers National Park in Argentina.
Our primary mission is to provide comfort and service to the visitor, resolving and facilitating their trip to Patagonia, we have also a travel agency that provide unique and personalized assistance programs. Rental equipment for any mountain activity, own transport and above all the personal attention that aims to help in every detail of your trip, assisting in the reserves need of air tickets, buses, tours and accommodations in the area.

The Hostel have 2 big and confortable rooms with 5 beds each one and a Twin private room , all with share bathrooms

Location Information

The hostel can be found near the corner of Baquedano and Bernado O´higgins. To get to Puerto Natales, there are several options depending on your method of travel. By air, fly to either Punta Arenas in Chile or El Calafate in Argentina. From both cities, visitors can rent vehicles or take buses to get to Puerto Natales. Many bus agencies that take visitors to Puerto Natales on a regular basis can be found here. From El Calafate, the easiest way by car is to go south on Ruta Nacional 40 and then cross over into Chile at the Cerro Castillo border town. From there, take highway 9 south to Puerto Natales. The trip is approximately 268 kilometers. Daily bus services linking El Calafate to Puerto Natales can also be found throughout town.
Puerto Natales also offers several bus agencies. They are: Buses Cootra, Buses Fernández, Buses Pacheco, Buses Gomez, Buses JBA and Turismo Zaahj. Consult their websites to obtain information regarding fares, schedule and availability.
These agencies are clustered around the town center. If arriving by Gomez, JBA and Turismo Zaahj, walk south on Arturo Pratt for two blocks then turn left on Bernado O´Higgins. Walk two more blocks to reach our hostel. If coming by Buses Pacheco, walk south on Ramirez for three blocks and then turn right on Bernado O´Higgins. For Buses Fernandez, walk south on Ramirez one block and turn right on Bernado O´Higgins. For buses Cootra on Baquedano, turn left on Bernado O´Higgins.
