Come visit us at Tin House Patagonia! We are located in the centre of Puerto Natales, in Chilean Patagonia. We offer a homey atmosphere to visiting backpackers that need a place to rest before or after an exciting trip!

Our small hostel, located in Puerto Natales, is the perfect place to begin your adventure in Patagonia. Tin house was built in the 1950s, renovated in 2009, and now shares a cosy vibe with all its visitors. It is located in the centre of Puerto Natales; one block from one of the two parks in the town.

The house has a large living room, allowing guests to read or relax on the sofa. We also provide our guests with a complete kitchen that is open for lunch and dinner. You can prepare yourself a nice meal, making you feel right at home.

Tin House offers its visitors a free buffet style breakfast, book exchange, linens, towels, WiFi; secure luggage storage, hot showers, free car parking, and lots of free information about the area. We can also help to arrange your trip into Argentina or Torres del Paine.

Accommodation Information

Tin House Patagonia offers two types of rooms and can sleep at total of eight people.

We have one dorm style room with two bunk beds and two double rooms with queen size beds. All the rooms are furnished with sheets, pillows, extra blankets and towels. The dorm room has lockers and all rooms are equipped with gas heaters. The three rooms share two bathrooms that provide hot water at all hours of the day.

Tin House Patagonia is perfect for families or small groups that would like a more private accommodation by renting the entire house.

Tin House Patagonia is located on Miraflores between Baquedano and Blanco Encalada. It is just one block away from one of the two city parks. The house is located four blocks from Bulnes, the town’s main street, and one block from Baquedano, which is the city’s main commercial street.

Puerto Natales is the entrance to Torres del Paine National Park. Tin House is located minutes away from the bus companies that take you to the National Park and also near the buses that take you to the regional airport in Punta Arenas. Punta Arenas is located approximately three hours from Puerto Natales. Torres del Paine is approximately two and a half hours from Tin House Patagonia.
