Liked: This is really more of a hotel not a hostel & this is reflected in the price but if you want a bit of luxury then it is ideal. All rooms seem to be ensuite even though we are being charged the rate for a room with out bathroom. I have just had my first hot bath after over three months of cold showers.... lovely!The communal areas are very nicely decorated with lots of wood & comfy sofas & there is a nice little beanbag area for reading. We like this place so much that we have booked an extra night & plan to stay here again when we return to catch our ferry south.The staff are incredibly helpful & friendly & the owner Mario speaks excellent english. The hostel seems at first to be a little far from the centre of things but It takes only a few minutes walk into town.

Liked: The staff were extremely welcoming. In addition, the hostel had only recently opened when we stayed in Dec 06, so all the amenities were in perfect condition. Our only complaint would be that we had no windows in our ground floor room. So although every effort had been made to make the room feel special, including a jacuzzi, it always felt a little damp and dark.
