Liked: Absolutely great, Perla the owner is so nice, the house is clean and the facilities great. Perla even can arrange a discount for renting a car!

Disliked: Just the location is not perfect, but it's not a big problem in a small town like that. 5 minutes to the bus station and 10 minutes to the downtown by walking.

Liked: Great breakfast in the morning and incredibly comfortable beds! Kitchen is well equipped. Free Wifi Big Towels

Disliked: Kitchen is only supposed to be open 3pm-8pm, it is shared with the owner.

Liked: Comfy beds, nice and warm

Disliked: I didn't feel safe in the area, not really the hostel's fault but I would advise anyone who can avoid staying in Puerto Montt to do so, just move straight on to anywhere else...

Liked: Perla was very helpful with everything! She let me in late when my bus arrived and arranged my taxi pick up to take me to the airport the next day. Breakfast was good too.

Disliked: Room was a little cold but the beds were warm enough.

Liked: Perla is a very nice helpful lady. Breakfast is very good.

Disliked: Not really a good place for guests to sit down. Only place is kitchen but you can only use that between 15.00 and 20.00 (21.00). A good place if your looking for a place just to sleep. I was in a dorm where there were probably bed bugs ... although they said there weren't ... but looking at the number and type of bytes that couldn't be only caused by mosquitos.

Liked: Perla was the nicest lady. This hostel is her home so you stay with the family. The breakfast was great. Shower was strong. We stayed in the private twin and the beds were comfy.

Disliked: The hostel is walking distance from the bus station, but it is uphill the whole way. I would suggest a cab if you are not in good shape. We had no problems though, even with our heavy packs.

Liked: i like old house and this hostel was really cute. i have never stayed like this house!

Disliked: it was located a bit far from down town and i had to walk hill.

Liked: 10 minute walk to the bus station.

Disliked: Dorm room was very moldy smelling and musty. The owner kicked us out of the kitchen at 9.30 pm even though cooking hours were from 5 til 10 pm. I don't see what Lonely Planet liked about this place.

Liked: breakfast, mattress was good.

Disliked: kitchen- you can use it from 3pm to 8pm. and house is far from the terminal. need to walk upward for 10~15min. when i left there, i told her 'i will be back, and stay 1night more' and she she said 'i will book for you'. but when i was back, the house was full and she didnot remember it. and even didn't say sorry.

Liked: The rooms had great beds! Our double room bed was comfortable and super warm (it had three huge blankets). The location was okay, near the bus station and lots of supermarkets. Perla is very kind and helpful.

Disliked: The showers are warm but not really hot. Also, the hostel is cold when there is not a fire.

Liked: Perla was very helpful and friendly in her family home. A 1942 Readers` Digest made interesting reading. It was fine for a cheap hostel.

Disliked: The house was cold, the kitchen available only for limited hours (until 20.00), and a nearby dog barked most of the night.

Liked: Friendly family stay, with english and german speaking owners, very helpfull and nice clean rooms

Disliked: it's a bit of a walk uphill from the bus terminal, but not too far..

Liked: The room was neat and tidy.

Disliked: Too far from the centre of town. Noisy visitors at the property. The price was completely incorrect. It stated $0.01 (6.00 CLP) per night, but it was more than $10 per night. (6000 CLP).

Liked: Perla, the owner was so nice, she treated me so well and get me the feeling being at home. I so much enjoyed the breakfast there with bread, jams, real butter, yoghurt and local amazing honeys, totally recommand it to others, note that hostel is not for party but for relaxing yourself and chilling in the garden. WIFI is free too and that helps for planning your trip as the advices from Perla, totally clean rooms and commons area, great shower with power and hot and the kitchen has everything such as spices or oil to cook...

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: I was just using this hostel as a stop over on my way to Argentina so I arrived late and left early the next day and so can't judge the location/facilities etc.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The beds were really comfortable, and because it was in Perla's house it felt like staying the night in (quote of a fellow traveler) the house of a very well prepared friend.

Disliked: You are staying at somebody's house, so that automatically means being a bit more quiet at night, as there might be (grand)children sleeping. Didn't really dislike it, but it's something to consider when you stay there.
