Liked: Unterkunft lag ruhig unweit der Hauptstrasse. Besitzer und Angestellte waren freundlich aber sprachen kaum Englisch; ich kaum Spanisch

Disliked: Unterkunft war teuer, kein Frühstück und wurde nicht gereinigt. Die geteilten Zimmer waren recht eng, die Küchenausstattung dürftig. Kann man sich warscheinlich in Pucon leisten?

Liked: It was a great place to stay. It was quite quiet, and seemed like there were a few families staying there, so if you are looking for a party place, I wouldn´t go here. However the owner was extremely nice with a big smile on her face all the time. She helped book an excursion for us before we even got there, which was great. The house itself is cute, and very clean all the time. You get keys to the house and your room so it is very secure. It is two blocks away from the JAC and Pullman bus stations, two blocks from the main street and close to places you can eat, book excursions, shop etc. But still on a quiet street.

Disliked: Nothing really.

Liked: The owner and her daughter were so sweet and helpfull. The cabins were in a cute garden. Equiped witheverything you need. Very close to the bus stations and the main drag.

Disliked: No breakfast. But thats ok. Loved the place.

Liked: The staff was very welcoming, accomodating, and friendly. They made sure I was comfortable and I got a great deal for my money. It was also quiet, which is a plus for me.

Disliked: Just that it said they had lockers and they did not. However, the owner let me have my own room.

Liked: Really helpful and friendly family and a lovely place to stay in Pucon. Very clean room/en suite and kitchen and they even renewed our towels on the second day even though they knew we were leaving the day after.

Liked: I did not want to leave this place! I loved it! We originally planned on staying 3 nights and ended up staying 5. Wish we could have stayed longer. What a nice stay we had in. We felt right at home. The room was so comfortable with plenty of snuggly, warm blankets. 2 fluffy pillows each per person, which is nice when you have been traveling for a year and most hostels only give 1 flat, old pillow. They clean the room every day, provide fresh, clean towels every day, TP, soap, etc. The kitchen is fully equipped (blender, electric hand mixer and all!), they let us do our laundry in their washing machine and hang it out in their beautiful back garden to dry. The view from the common area was superb! You could see the volcano. My husband and I cannot speak Spanish and they were very kind and patient and still made every effort to help us and show us around the kitchen and give us advice. We also got picked up from the bus station and walked over to the hostel (it's very close). The ladies there are so sweet. Also, they seem to have Chileans staying there which is rare at hostels! We met a really nice man who is in construction and temporarily working in Pucon and staying there. He spoke English to us when he realized our Spanish was not good. He was super friendly. There seemed to be others too, so great if you want to meet more than other "gringos" on the tourist trail. :-) AWESOME PLACE and I am picky. I have been traveling for 1 year now and have been in so many hostels. This place was just comfortable, cozy, and homey. Loved it. I felt like I was staying as a guest in someone's Chilean Aunt's house or something.

Disliked: The walls are a little thin, so I could hear the neighbor's tv when he fell asleep and it was on all night. But we told the ladies the next day and I assume they told him because we never heard his tv again.

Liked: It's the best room we stayed in in South America (we booked a double ensuite); great bed, every day clean towels, heating, hot shower and our own TV. Also good Wifi connection.

Disliked: The fact that there is a fire heater (not sure about the English word) but if there would be a fire in the property you cannot go outside from the windows because they are closed.

Liked: Staff are amazing, they will go out their way for anything. I was picked up at the bus station, the owner didnt even know what bus I was coming in on, just turned up incase. Others that stayed there were also met at the station. The fire was kept going by staff too, great to come home to after being in the snow all day.

Disliked: Not anything I can put my finger on!

Liked: The ladies are absolutely delightful, and so kind and friendly. The cottage was very homey (a nice change from dorms) and we did lots of cooking in the kitchen. Our bus didn't leave till 8pm, so they let us stay in the house until then. Highly reccommend.

Liked: The friendly and helpful host.

Disliked: The heating system needs updating, so that the bedrooms can be heated better. There is only a wood fire in the living room, but no heating system in the bedrooms.

Liked: Our cabin was lovely, shared with 2 other couples. Great kitchen with lots of equipment. Roasting fire, warm and comfy beds, clean all round. Valentina the host is the fantastic, incredible hospitable and always makes sure you're ok and the fires pumping. Thank you so much Valentina!

Liked: AMAZING, the owners went out of their way to help us. Our bus didnt leave till the night but they allowed us to keep the room up until the bus! It would be one of the best accommodation we have stayed in in South America!

Liked: We had like a little cabin just for us and some other travellers, with a fireplace! It felt like a family, and felt like home. Great place!

Disliked: The hotwater isn't always very hot, but the place is still absolutely great.

Liked: This is the best place we have stayed in south america so far. Really good value for money, very friendly hosts, good kitchen facilites, beds that were so comfortable it was hard to get out of them, each room with its own bathroom, great location. good for meeting other couples- I cannot rate this hostel highly enough!

Liked: Very friendly owner and nice welcome, fully equipped kitchen and offered advise on the various companies who trek up the volcano.

Disliked: Sadly did not offer laundry and no breakfast (though this is common in Pucon)
