Liked: Good place to hang out with friends, lovely garden

Disliked: Staff unorganized, internet partially not working, messy rooms Volcano tour was fun, however the guide did not explain anything about the volcano (danger, history, last eruption) -> would not recommend the hostel volcano tour

Liked: Nice living room, friendly staff, close to the lake, quiet location, swimming pool, two huge dogs, comfy beds, fruits in the garden

Disliked: Too few bathrooms, a little far from a supermarket

Liked: its very nicely located in pucon. and the atmosphere is nice. they are also very serious about their energy conservation which is great for the planet!

Disliked: travelbookers doesn´t work for them, go directly to their website and book. also they are serious about their energy conservation so they don´t heat the place very well and it´s always dark in the hallways. its hard to get around when you cant see

Disliked: Showers need hot water temperature raised and the building was also cold during my stay which coincided with cold weather.

Liked: We had booked a double ensuite but very soon after our booking we received e-mail from hostel owner to say that he had problems with hostelbookers and that the room was booked up. We ended up being offered a dorm bed that night and then a twin with shared bathroom the following night. we just took the dorm for the two nights. The bathrooms were average, breakfast wasn't included but the hostel had a lovely friendly atmosphere and cozy communal area with tv and excellent wifi. the tours offered were great! when we arrived around mid-night we were able to arrange tour to the national park for the following day so were delighted! also good location - short walk from bus station.

Disliked: The problems we had booking it. The bunk beds were very high and had no ladders - quite dangerous but also we both ended up with top bunks and the combination of the lack of ladders and the noise of the wooden beds made it impossible to get into or out of the bed quietly which was annoying especially with strangers on the bottom bunks asleep under us who we didn't want to wake!

Liked: Super hostel, with everything a traveller needs: comfy beds, clean rooms, excellent kitchen, hot water, wifi, friendly staff and great location. Plus the bonus of a swimming pool and 2 friendly dogs!

Liked: Really nice place but go ther during the summer! it's big, clean,the staff is really nice.no hot water, no heating system.

Liked: Second time i have stayed at etnico eco. Great place with a fun staff. The hostel is clean with a social atmosphere that makes it easy to meet other travelers. Would highly recommend this hostel!

Liked: The hostel is a great place to hang out in Pucon - fantastic communal areas, including an amazing sun trap garden (with a pool and asado). The staff are great - really helpful and have loads of local information.

Liked: Great location and great premises. Only negative was the constant attempts to sell tours by the overbearing Americans who seem to run the hostel on a day-to-day basis. We hadn't even checked in and they had tried to sell the volcano tour 3 times...We found it much cheaper elsewhere and then they said they could have matched the price. That's not how to sell, boys, not how to sell! There was also some confusion with our booking which was explained by them not working with Hostel Bookers

Liked: The staff were fantastic. Great guys who were reallz helpful and ultra friendly. They made our stay. The hostel it's self could do with an overhaul. It was pretty basic for the top dollar we paid.

Liked: The house is very cool, their structure is great.They have a big yard for whatever activities you might want to make.They have a funny dog.BUT YHE SERVICES ARE VERY BAD! WE MADE THE RESERVATIONS WITH A TWO WEEK ADVANCE AND THEY PUT ME IN A ROOM WITH COLD WATER SHOWER) I TOLD THEM THAT THE SHOWER WASN'T GOOD, THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD FIX IT, BUT THEY DIDN'T AND, WHEN I CAME BACK AT NIGHT I HAD COLD SHOWER AGAIN. I WAS LOOKING FOR THE MANAGER, BUT HE WAS MAKING BARBECUE AT THE YARD AND DIDN'T CARE ABOUT IT.I CAN TELL THAT THE SPACE IS AMAZING, BUT ALWAYS CHECK THE ROOMS FIRST!
